Stories are one of the most powerful ways to learn because they allow us to understand at a deeper level. One of the most important things an business owner can do is help their clients win and so we wanted to create a space where the community can learn from each other’s experiences of how they’ve helped their clients succeed.

In communities today leadership is needed by all those intent on being of service to their neighbor. When I was stationed at my battalion I had to make sure other privates were always early for detail. I had to make sure we had our canteens, our weaponry, our loads, our extra equipment, our maps, because we would march out at around 2am and not get back to our barracks until around 7pm. We had to look out for each other. No soldier could be left behind. So in today’s world I had to apply the same sense when it came to no child, woman, man or elder being left behind. Read more>>

As the owner of this company, I believe that I am personally responsible for creating and maintaining a strong company culture. This means that as a business that is in the service industry, our mission both collectively and individually is to never forget that we are to be servants. As such, I teach my team members that there is always an underlying purpose behind every job that we perform. We are not simply hauling off someone’s trash, we may be helping them move in to a new home. We could be helping them close an unpleasant chapter in their life or helping them to run and operate a business of their own. We make it our goal to remember that we are helping people find solutions to these problems. Read more>>

An artist approached us seeking to elevate her brand and website to reflect her growing success. Recently, we had the opportunity to build a van for an entrepreneur couple who wanted to travel in their van to ski resorts in the winter. As avid skiers, and small business owner who can work remote, we knew their van build would need to key items for them to be successful. As with all our builds, we ensured that they van was well insulated for winter travel with Havelock wool, and a Webasto heater to keep them cozy after those long days on the ski hill. But what we added that was different than any of our past builds was a mobile office set up. Here’s what we included: a permanently mounted Starlink with the 12v adaptor (so they don’t need to run their inverter to use it!), a fold away work station with USB ports, and added seating so they can both work from the work station. Plus, this work station can fold away when not in use OR double as a dining area after hours. Our happy clients are set up for winter adventures for years to come! Read more>>

Arriving in the United States two years ago was the realization of a dream I had carried since my childhood. It was a risky bet, because I came alone, but I was dear like my dad teach me in this life to seize every opportunity to grow my passion for pastry. Just this week a client that gets there vehicle detailed about 3-4 times a year was explaining how much she appreciated having her car detailed thoroughly, And she hasn’t seen anyone detail a vehicle like I do… This was normal. However what I did not expect, was for the client to share that, “me detailing her vehicle was better than her going to the spa.” It was at this point, I realized 1: the value that seeing someone meticulously detailing your vehicle has. The time, effort & thought that goes into it. It wasn’t that I was the best Detailer ever- it was just the fact that the service was getting done with care, skill and consistency and it was VISIBLE. Realization number 2: A clean, organized and fresh smelling ride, home, or office space is invaluable to our state of mind. Read more>>

We often hear about postpartum depression and the impact it has on women. But rarely we hear about depression during pregnancy or prenatal depression. Although it affects a smaller percentage of the population, it still can affect 10-20% of the population. It is so important to seek care from health professionals. I was recently contacted by a lady for wanted to have maternity photos done. She shared with me that she had been battling with depression during her pregnancy and was trying to find a way to boost her self-esteem and celebrate welcoming her daughter into this world. Although she was excited about her new family, she was having a difficult time finding joy in her every day life and feeling fulfilled as a woman. She mentioned she wanted to feel strong, powerful, empower, and beautiful. Read more>>

My journey into the world of filmmaking began with a deep passion for storytelling and visual expression, nurtured from my early years growing up in an academically inclined family. While everyone around me pursued medicine, I found my inspiration in classic films that I watched with my parents every Saturday. This tradition planted the seed of my love for cinema and drove me to follow a different path—one that merged creativity with precision. Read more>>

I had a young, first-time buyer client a few years ago. She had already been searching for homes with a couple of different agents who wouldn’t give her the time of day. She had also been working with an online lender who she could never get in touch with to ask questions. She came as a referral to my office at the time and a colleague of mine accepted her. Unfortunately, that colleague also decided it was a waste of their time, as my client was looking a little far away and had a lower budget. I immediately swooped her up. Yes, I was hungry for business, but after having just a brief conversation with her on the phone, I knew this was one of those “she needs me more than I need her” situations. This amazing young woman deserved a home more than any client I’ve had so far. Read more>>

“I had a client with a cancer experience. After finishing her treatment, she decided to revive her eyebrows since she had lost them. The result was incredible and very emotional. My client cried tears of joy and was grateful to have eyebrows again. For me, being able to help people with their self-esteem is more fulfilling than just charging for a service. I feel a responsibility in my hands to make my clients feel happy and more confident.” Read more>>

On August 6th, 2024, Ohio faced a treacherous thunderstorm followed by multiple tornados. This storm left numerous counties without power for over a week. While my business was not impacted by the widespread outage, there were other bakers in the area who were not as fortunate. I had two moms-to-be reach out saying they no longer had desserts for their gender reveals. Even though I was completely booked myself, I accepted their orders with two days notice and waived the rush fee due to the circumstances. They both expressed their gratitude and thanked me profusely for saving their parties. Read more>>
