We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Gavin White. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Gavin below.
Hi Gavin, thanks for joining us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
In my opinion, I believe everyone’s definition of “success” is different. So for myself – in order to be successful you have to be relentless. Before I signed my first professional contract I had 7,644 training sessions that were all logged, tracked, and dated.
That’s what it took me to become successful – no matter the failures, set backs, or injuries I experienced. I had to find a way to train.
Same thing for business. People get discouraged when they hear the word “no”. For me I used it as a stepping stone to the word yes. Here, let me give you an example I tell all of my clients.
I can change your perspective on the word “no” in 30 seconds.
If I said “ you have to get told no, 100 times, but on the 101st time you’d sell a $20,000 item.” I’d be willing to bet you’d be in a hurry to go get your FIRST NO.
That’s really how it works – every “no” is just a step closer to yes. Don’t get discouraged so easy, have a little grit about you.

Gavin, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Well – I got into this business by complete accident. I was originally just an online fitness coach, but I got EXTREMELY good at gathering leads and closing deals. So much so that I was able to by a Maserati & Camaro 2 weeks apart. This brought attention to me – by accident.
I had a guy named Alex Pardo approach me in the gym who was also an online fitness coach & he just straight up asked me “ dude, how are you able to have those cars.”
So, I pulled out my phone, and showed him my statements and the sales I was getting. He then literally said “ i will pay you if you let me learn from you. “
And that’s what started it. First it was Alex, then it was a whole slew of people. It just kept growing.
From there I was like okay, I need to get a software that can do xyz. And from that thought process, I made some calls, paid some money, and now we have what you guys know as New Money Systems.
It’s an all in automated sales and marketing platform. In simple terms – it does anything and everything you need in a business to be successful, all you have to do is listen and apply yourself.

Conversations about M&A are often focused on multibillion dollar transactions – but M&A can be an important part of a small or medium business owner’s journey. We’d love to hear about your experience with selling businesses.
The very first business I ever sold was AlphaPlanning. My online fitness business – if I could go back in time, one piece of advice I’d give every young entrepreneur… TRACK YOUR SALES WITH A PAYMENT PROCESSOR. Do not use Venmo or cashapp etc.
I did that & once it came time to present my past numbers to potential buyers of the business, I had to manual go write over 1,000 different orders. It was awful, not fun, track your payments guys.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Social media is a game – and it’s a game you have to learn how to play. If you guys want to learn how I created my following on social media I would read this law in the 48 laws of power. It teaches you everything that I’ve done.
Law #27.
48 laws of power by Robert Greene.
That’s how you play the game.
