We recently connected with Edward Vincent and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Edward thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
The most meaningful project I have worked on was my first feature film Road to Terzetto. I have been an actor for many years and always dreamed of writing a feature film. I had came up with an idea with a few friends in acting class during Covid and we wrote and feature film in six months. I started my production company Free Falling Productions, and we filmed our award winning movie in ten days. It was a story that we created from the heart and became a passion project. Brian Shakti (director ), Sean McNabb, Kevin Sinic, and I were all co -producers and co-writers on the film and my wife Kris and I shared executive producers on Road to Terzetto. It meant the world to see our film win 22 awards and stream nationwide. We knew we had created something special.

Edward, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I grew up in Chicago and attended Columbia College of the Arts. I had moved out to Los Angeles in my early 20s and had some success but I would notice that I would get anxiety before auditions. This continued for many years for me. I decided to get hypnotized from a certified therapist and noticed how it worked so quickly for me. I then attended HMI for a year, an accredited school for therapy in LA, and began working with people with all kinds of different issues. I started to see a lot of success with my clients and watch many overcome different obstacles from weight loss, high anxiety, fears, phobias, past life, relationship issues, stage fright, creative blocks, and fear of success. It gives me a pleasure to see some of the artists I have worked with on tv and movies. I use some of my own tools for creating writing, auditions, and to go deep into character.
I have been acting and writing a lot the past six years and have began a new hypnotherapy practice in Huntington Beach and on Zoom as well.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is that I get to write and create my own characters and see them grow. It was so cool to see the script we wrote for Road to Terzetto on the big screen many times and watch the reactions of the audience. I have a few scripts I am working on now and getting deep into the characters development. I have recently worked with a few new hypnotherapy clients on creating their characters for their acting roles and a singer for writing new music. I really enjoy helping others go deep into their creativity as well.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I attended Columbia College in Chicago for the arts and got the bug for acting. I had always been a shy kid and I thought performing would help me overcome that. I auditioned for many things in my 20’s but always seem to sabotage any success before it happened. After three big auditions at Fox when I was 29, I quit acting for a decade. I felt my anxiety and feeling that I wasn’t good enough had crushed any hopes that I had. I studied for a year at Hypnosis Motivational Institute and graduated with honors in Los Angeles. I decided to get back into acting and see if what I had learned would improve the condition I had many years prior. I noticed that when I used the tools I had learned, my auditions and creative process grew for the better. I started to help other’s artists with the same issues. I feel I am so fortunate to still be creating and performing at this stage of my life.
