Many years ago, I was a pharmacy intern working in a retail pharmacy while I was on break from pharmacy college. For anyone who is not aware, working in retail pharmacy is a very high stress job. Big box pharmacies are forced to be horribly understaffed by corporations and that puts a lot of pressure on the staff. It is a guiding principle in my career, in my everyday efforts as a parent, and in the ethos of my company (Fanbase Press). One of my favorite quotes from Fred Rogers is “There are three ways to ultimate success: The first way is to be kind. The second way is to be kind.
