Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tiffany Betts. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Tiffany , appreciate you joining us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
One day, while sitting on my couch, I realized that my life as a stay-at-home mom was coming to an end. My children would soon be leaving for college, and I found myself asking God a simple but life-changing question: “What will I do now?” In that quiet moment, He placed three words deeply into my heart—See Me Beautiful.
Along with those words came clear direction: start a blog. I felt led to share my story, my life, and my passion for dance and fashion. But it became clear that this platform was meant to be more than style—it was meant to be a space of encouragement. See Me Beautiful was created to remind women that they are wonderfully made in the image of God, deeply loved by Him, and already beautiful as they are.
What began as obedience to a whisper in my heart grew into a creative and purpose-driven platform rooted in faith, authenticity, and empowerment. See Me Beautiful is not just a blog—it is a calling to help women see themselves the way God sees them: beautiful, worthy, and full of purpose.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Hi, I’m Tiffany Betts, founder of See Me Beautiful—a fashion and empowerment platform created to help women reconnect with their confidence, their voice, and their personal style.
My journey into this work didn’t begin in the fashion industry in the traditional sense. It began during a deeply personal season of rediscovery. After years of being a stay-at-home mom and pouring into my family, I found myself asking important questions about identity, purpose, and who I was becoming. Style became one of the ways I found my way back to myself. It wasn’t about trends—it was about expression, healing, and confidence. I realized that what we wear can influence how we see ourselves, and more importantly, how we show up in the world.
I created See Me Beautiful as a space where style meets self-worth. What began as a blog has grown into a platform rooted in storytelling, personal expression, and encouragement. Through content creation, blogging, and sharing my own evolving journey, I use style as a tool to inspire women to see themselves differently—to see themselves fully. I share style tips, creative expression, and honest reflections that remind women they are allowed to evolve, pivot, and rediscover themselves at any stage of life.
Like many creatives and entrepreneurs, my path has not been linear. There have been seasons where I’ve had to pivot, pause, and seek clarity about what was next. Right now, I am in a season of creating, listening, and praying through what’s ahead. I feel deeply called to continue building See Me Beautiful, and I also carry the vision of reopening my online boutique when the timing aligns. I’ve learned that vision doesn’t disappear just because timing shifts. Instead of giving up, I’ve returned to my foundation—blogging, storytelling, and creating meaningful content that reflects both my style and my growth.
What sets See Me Beautiful apart is authenticity. My platform was built from lived experience, not just expertise. I understand what it feels like to rebuild confidence, to rediscover your voice, and to step forward even when the path isn’t fully clear. I don’t present perfection—I present possibility. I want women to know that it’s okay to be in the middle of becoming.
What I’m most proud of is having the courage to begin and to continue, even through uncertainty. See Me Beautiful represents resilience, faith, creativity, and the decision to keep showing up.
I want people to know that See Me Beautiful is more than fashion—it’s about visibility, identity, and empowerment. It’s about reminding women that they are never invisible, that their story matters, and that beauty is not something they have to chase—it’s something they already carry. My work is an invitation for women to embrace who they are, honor their journey, and confidently step into their light.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the most defining lessons I’ve had to unlearn was the belief that timing was something I could control. Early on, I carried the quiet pressure of feeling like I needed to move faster, accomplish more, and prove that what I carried inside of me was valid. I measured growth by visibility instead of transformation. But God began to show me that purpose is not built in urgency — it’s built in surrender.
The creation of See Me Beautiful was not born from perfection or certainty, but from obedience. I didn’t have a blueprint. I only had a deep knowing that I was called to create something that would remind women of their worth, their beauty, and their becoming. Stepping into content creation required me to be seen before I felt ready. It required faith to show up consistently, even in seasons when it felt quiet and unseen.
One morning, in the middle of an ordinary moment, I was making pancakes and watching for the bubbles to rise. The bubbles are the signal that it’s time to flip. Not because you forced it, but because it’s ready. In that moment, I realized how much of my life mirrored that process. The heat, the waiting, the pressure — it wasn’t working against me, it was preparing me. God was developing something in me that could not be rushed.
I had to learn to extend grace to myself in the waiting. To release the belief that I was behind, and instead trust that I was being positioned. Building See Me Beautiful taught me that influence is not about speed, it’s about alignment. It’s about honoring the process, even when the outcome isn’t visible yet.
What I know now is that God was never asking me to strive. He was asking me to trust Him. Every season of waiting strengthened my voice, clarified my purpose, and deepened my confidence in who He created me to be.
See Me Beautiful exists today because I chose to honor His timing instead of my own. And in doing so, I discovered that waiting is not where dreams disappear — it’s where they are formed, refined, and prepared to be seen.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
At the beginning of my journey toward entrepreneurship and building See Me Beautiful (SMB), I was stepping into unfamiliar territory. After years of being a stay-at-home mom, my days had been filled with school drop-offs, packing lunches, and PTA meetings. When I decided to pursue my calling and launch my first online boutique, everything shifted. I quickly realized I wasn’t just building a brand—I was rebuilding parts of myself.
There was so much to learn. Not only about business, platforms, and branding, but about trust—trusting God and trusting that I was capable of becoming someone new. Fear was present. Doubt was present. And honestly, so were mistakes. My first online store didn’t unfold the way I envisioned. The platform didn’t work for me, the growth wasn’t immediate, and I faced moments where it would have been easier to walk away. But resilience isn’t about getting it right the first time. It’s about being willing to begin again.
I pivoted. I learned new skills. I started over more than once. SMB has taken on many forms over the years, evolving alongside me as I grew in confidence, clarity, and purpose. What remained constant was the heart behind it: to remind women that they are fearfully and wonderfully made.
That journey taught me that resilience isn’t loud—it’s quiet, faithful, and persistent. It’s choosing to believe in what God placed inside you, even when the outcome doesn’t look the way you planned. SMB exists today not because everything went right, but because I refused to give up on the calling to help women see themselves as beautiful, worthy, and empowered.
