We recently connected with Tasha Robinson and have shared our conversation below.
Tasha, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?
Paris Esthetics Skincare grew organically from my journey in the beauty industry. I began as a makeup artist more than fourteen years ago, but quickly discovered my true passion was skincare. I became deeply committed to learning everything I could about skin health, investing in advanced education, training, and hands-on experience so I could deliver meaningful results for my clients. Over time, I noticed something important. Many talented estheticians were entering the field without mentorship, advanced training, or professional guidance on how to truly grow in the industry. That realization stayed with me and eventually inspired the vision for Paris Esthetics Skincare.
Turning that vision into reality required patience and faith. I’ve had a lot of time developing my business structure, refining my brand, and continuing my education so I could create a space focused on results, education, and empowerment.
Today, Paris Esthetics Skincare reflects that purpose serving both clients and the next generation of esthetics professionals. helping people understand that healthy skin is a journey.
Looking back, what started as a passion has grown into a purpose driven business, and I’m grateful for every step I’ve taken and continue to take on this journey with grace,

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Tasha Robinson, and I am a Licensed Esthetician, Oncology Certified Esthetician (OCE), and Advanced Skincare Training Coordinator with 17 years of experience across clinical dermatology, education, patient care, and spa operations.
My journey into beauty industry didn’t begin as a business plan, it began as a niche and then found my calling. I’ve always been drawn to helping people feel confident, seen, and comfortable within themselves. Over time, I realized that skincare was more than surface level care; it was deeply connected to how people show up in the world. That understanding shaped not only my career, but my purpose.
In the early days, I immersed myself in learning, studying skin from both a clinical and holistic perspective, working alongside medical professionals, and gaining hands-on experience that would later become the foundation of my practice. There were moments of uncertainty, long hours, and seasons where I had to pour into others while still finding my own balance, but each step strengthened my commitment to this work.
What makes my path unique is the blend of environments I’ve worked in. From clinical dermatology to higher education and spa settings, I’ve been able to see skincare from every angle patient, provider, student, and mentor. That perspective allows me to approach every client and every student with both skill and empathy.
Today, my work focuses on advanced, medically informed skincare, including acne correction, chemical peels, dermaplaning, anti-aging treatments, and oncology-safe esthetic services. I also provide in depth skin analysis and long-term treatment planning, always ensuring that care is both results-driven and deeply personalized.
In addition to working with clients, I am passionate about education and mentorship. As a Licensed Professional and Advanced Skincare Training Coordinator, I develop curriculum and train estheticians to not only master their craft, but to lead with integrity, confidence, and compassion. I believe the future of this industry depends on how well we educate and uplift the next generation.
If I had to describe what truly sets my work apart, it would be my commitment to creating meaningful experiences. Whether someone comes to me for treatment or training, I want them to feel safe, supported, and empowered. My goal is not just to improve skin, but to restore confidence and remind people of their worth.
I’m most proud of the lives I’ve been able to impact along the way, the clients who have regained their confidence, the students who have gone on to build successful careers, and the spaces I’ve helped shape through education and leadership. For me, success has never been just about growth, it’s about purpose, people, and legacy.
At the core of everything I do is a simple belief: when people are cared for with knowledge, compassion, and integrity, transformation naturally follows.
Be free to love you, because loving you is what truly matters.
Have you ever had to pivot?
One of the most defining pivots in my journey came when I made the decision to return to corporate work after building my own business.
At the time, it felt like the “responsible” choice steady income, structure, and a sense of security that entrepreneurship doesn’t always guarantee. But stepping back into that environment was an adjustment. Being on someone else’s schedule again, navigating leadership gaps, and witnessing moments of unprofessionalism and workplace politics it didn’t sit well with my spirit. I’ve always believed in integrity, fairness, and leading with intention, so those experiences challenged me in a different way.
But even in that season, there was purpose.
I paid attention. I learned what strong leadership should look like and also what it shouldn’t. I took mental notes on communication, team dynamics, and the kind of environment I never wanted to create. And in a way, that experience refined me. It strengthened my standards and gave me even more clarity about the kind of leader and professional I am called to be.
There were moments when I considered closing my business completely and committing to the comfort of a steady paycheck. It would have been easier in many ways. But every time I got close to that decision, God would pull me back, to my passion for skincare, my love for people, and that deeper knowing that this is what I’m meant to do.
This time, the pivot feels different.
There’s a level of clarity, peace, and patience that I didn’t have before. I’m no longer operating from fear or uncertainty, but from faith and alignment. I trust the process more. I trust my path more. And most importantly, I trust God for what he’s helping me to build, that has purpose beyond me.
That season taught me that sometimes a pivot isn’t about starting over, it’s about being refined, realigned, and reminded of who you are.
And for me, it brought me right back home to my love/passion that I have for skincare.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
For me, the greatest source of new clients has truly come from word of mouth and that means everything to me.
There’s something deeply special about someone trusting me enough to share my name with the people they love. It tells me that what I’m doing goes beyond skincare, it’s about how I make people feel. When a client leaves my space feeling more confident, more seen, and more at peace in their own skin, and then tells someone else about that experience… that’s the kind of growth you can’t buy.
A lot of my clients come in already feeling connected to me before we even meet, and that’s been really beautiful to witness.
The other piece has been the content I share. I don’t just post to be seen; I share from a genuine place. Whether I’m educating, showing real results, or simply speaking from the heart, I’ve learned that people can feel authenticity. Even when it seems quiet, people are watching, even if they’re not liking or commenting, they’re learning, and they’re connecting in their own time.
And when they’re ready, they come.
I think what I’ve come to understand is that growth, for me, has never been about chasing clients. It’s been about nurturing trust, building real relationships, and showing up with consistency and care. When you lead with that, the right people always find their way to you.
