Alright, Stevie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?
When my company Farmhouse Moon was born, its roots lay in a charming old farmhouse nestled in Michigan, built back in 1917. This enchanting home became the catalyst for my creative journey, as its energy permeated every aspect of my company’s foundation.
From the moment I set foot inside, the farmhouse exuded a profound sense of creativity and spirituality. It was as if the very walls whispered inspiration and possibility. In this sacred space, my vision took shape, and the idea of Farmhouse Moon began to flourish.
The name itself encompasses the essence of my origins. The term “Farmhouse” represents the rustic charm, grounding us in the natural beauty and simplicity of life. It symbolizes the heritage, warmth, and authentic craftsmanship that infuse our creations.
“Moon” holds a twofold significance in our name. Firstly, it stems from the middle name of my daughter, adding a personal touch to the brand. It pays homage to the precious connections and intergenerational bonds that shape our journey.
Secondly, “Moon” resonates deeply with my passions beyond the realm of silversmithing. I embrace the celestial dance of the stars and possess a profound understanding of Astrology. As both a silversmith and astrologer, the name “Farmhouse Moon” reflects the fusion of my artistic expressions with the spiritual wisdom of the cosmos.

Hi friends! My name is Stevie. I am an Alchemist & Artist.
I’ve always been someone who has looked up to the sky for a deeper connection to the cosmos! I remember being in my tree house, watching a meteor shower for hours and how in awe I was, how humble it made me feel.
When I was 15, I was diagnosed with Bone Cancer. I had to grow up fast, and was faced with my own mortality. But ultimately it really solidified my need to trust in something outside of myself. This karmic event changed my life and had me questioning everything.
Later, in college, I met so many people that had different beliefs than me, which had me questioning my own. Traditional religion never felt like it filled that void in me to understand myself better. It always left me feeling shameful, not empowered.
I realized that this feeling that I had, this connection I felt was much greater than one religion.
Yet I continued to wander, searching for answers about myself and my place in the universe
• How could I feel like I was living a more fulfilling life?
• What was my purpose here on Earth?
• Why am I the way I am?
After working for other people, I knew that I had everything it took to be my own boss, I longed for that freedom to live more authentically, more independently. After working every weeknight and weekend on my jewelry business, I took the leap of faith and became my OWN boss. I have always wanted to live a life by my own rules.
About 10 years ago, I was loving being my own boss, but I felt like I was at a crossroads. As an Artist I wanted to do more than create jewelry, I wanted to help others to become empowered and independent, so they can live by their own rules too!
I felt like there was something out there that would be more fulfilling to my soul. I felt a DEEP, in my bones, calling to study Astrology. Initially skeptical, as soon as I started studying it, I had so many “ah ha” moments, day after day, my mind was BLOWN.
I had NEVER understood myself in this way! There it was… a map of my soul.. my Soul’s Blueprint.
I understood how my mind works, why I face challenges in certain areas of my life. I realized why I was here on this Earth! I had never felt more understood.. I knew exactly who I was. The layers of blankets of shame, self-doubt and guilt lifted one by one.
Astrology has never stopped gifting me these “ah ha” moments. I have them every single week, 10 years later. I now know how to plan my days, weeks and years according to what’s happening with me personally. I understand what lessons I am here to learn, what gifts I have and I OWN them. I know where to lean in and when to lean back. It has given me the map and the understanding that each year that map shifts and we work through different phases of our lives.
This is why I have developed my programs for conscious people, who desire to become in alignment with their unique Soul Blueprint and live on purpose without meaningless self-judgements, inauthenticity, or conformity to the social rules.
Have you ever had to pivot?
In the bustling world of Corporate America, I once found myself immersed in the daily grind as a Marketing Director yet always feeling a profound sense of not being fulfilled.
One day, a moment of clarity broke through and I realized that true fulfillment lay beyond the confines of a corporate office. It was a courageous decision, for I grew accustomed to the stability and comfort of a predictable career. However, the deep yearning within my heart pushed me to take a brave leap of faith into the unknown.
With determination, I began building my own jewelry business, embracing the passion that had been dormant within me for far too long. Long nights and weekends were channeled into creating something meaningful—a venture that reflected my true essence and allowed me to make a genuine impact on the world.
It was not an easy path. Doubts sometimes clouded my vision. But with each challenge, I grew stronger and more resolute in my commitment. I reminded myself that the pursuit of fulfillment and purpose was worth every moment of uncertainty and discomfort.
As my business started to take shape, a profound sense of gratitude enveloped me. Gratitude for having the courage to break free from the confines of a life that never truly resonated with my soul. Gratitude for embracing the unknown and embarking on a journey where I could chart my own course, guided by my inner voice.
Today, I stand as a testament to the transformative power of listening to the calling of my soul. No longer confined by the limitations of corporate walls, I revel in the joy of pursuing my passions, serving others in a way that aligns with my deepest values. The fulfillment I once sought outside of myself is now within my grasp, a direct result of honoring my true purpose.
Every step on this path has been a testament to the incredible strength and resilience that resides within me. It is a reminder that when we courageously answer the call of our soul, we unlock the potential to create a life that truly resonates with our being.

Any fun sales or marketing stories?
In the face of adversity, true strength and resilience often emerge. I experienced this firsthand when my original jewelry design was unfortunately stolen by a large corporation, Urban Outfitters. The devastating realization that my creative work had been exploited left me feeling disheartened and betrayed.
However, I made a conscious decision not to let this setback define me. Instead, I channeled my emotions into a blog post, sharing my story and expressing my deep disappointment with the actions of corporations that disregard the creative efforts of independent artists. Little did I know that this blog post would touch the hearts of many and resonate with a global audience.
As my heartfelt words went viral, a wave of support began to wash over me. People from all walks of life connected with my experience, expressing their outrage and standing in solidarity with independent artists. The outpouring of support was not only heartwarming but also unexpected. News stations and media outlets even sought to interview me, amplifying the message and shedding light on the challenges faced by creators in a world dominated by corporate giants.
What truly touched me, though, was the response from those who not only empathized with my situation but also embraced my original design. Orders flooded in from individuals who wanted to support me directly, recognizing the value and authenticity of my work. The overwhelming demand was beyond anything I had ever imagined, and I was both grateful and shocked by the response.
This experience taught me that there is power in vulnerability and in standing up for what is right. It revealed the strength of community and the importance of supporting independent artists who pour their hearts and souls into their creations. It also highlighted the immense impact that social media and online platforms have in amplifying voices and spreading awareness.
Through it all, I am grateful for the opportunity to have shed light on a broader issue and to have received such an outpouring of support. It reminded me that resilience and determination can overcome even the most challenging circumstances. From this experience, I emerged stronger, more resolute, and with a renewed belief in the power of creativity and the support of a global community.
Now, as I continue my creative journey, I remain committed to staying true to myself, embracing authenticity, and advocating for the rights and recognition of independent artists. The road may have been rocky, but the impact of this experience has been transformative, and I am grateful for the support that propelled me forward.
