We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Spence Noble. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Spence below.
Spence, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
The most meaningful project has been the band I started with friends I went to elementary school with. The band is called Band of Gringos. We grew up in a small town called Ocean Beach in San Diego CA. The music has influences of psychedelic rock, blues, and soul.
It’s meaning to me because it’s been my biggest passion project for the last 11 years. Playing music with the friends I grew up with and Touring around the country has felt like a dream! And I’m so grateful I’ve had these amazing opportunities with this band.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
I started playing trumpet in 4th grade and I dropped at the end of 8th grade when I fell in love with the drums. I was about 14 when I picked up the drums.
I went to a festival call Coachella in 2014 and I knew I wanted to pursue music.
I also teach the community Drums, skateboarding, and surfing. Teaching the community had brought me great joy! Seeing young kids fall in love with the things that I fell in love with makes me super happy!
I also started acting in a new sitcom based in ocean beach. Some friends and I created a Tv show! We have one pilot episode out and episode 2 is coming June 2026. We are stoked to make a full season.
As far as the Gringos. I feel we are providing a live sound that has been lost for a while and we are giving it a new light in this modern day.

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
Dance, listen, go to love shows, share the music you love with friends and family, and buy merch. Spreading the message is how artist get discovered. The more you share the easier it for new artist to get discovered.
But I truly believe coming to the live shows and buying merch is one of the best ways to support an artist.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
For me, I really want to tour more! Play all over the world and play legendary venues like Red Rocks, Madison Garden, The Gorge Amphitheater and more!
Also put out incredible music I am proud to be apart of!
