Rylee, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today One of our favorite things to hear about is stories around the nicest thing someone has done for someone else – what’s the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?

I’m Rylee! I was born 100% blind and deaf. Whoever my breeder was, dumped me because of my double merle traits. Wayside Waifs found me and I was recused by a lovely family and have been living the comfiest and happiest life ever since!

Rylee, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Rylee loves to show off her smile and fashion sense on Instagram. This is the main platform that we use and have currently reached about 22K followers (friends!)

In the past (before kids) Rylee would host local meet ups where her Instagram friends could come and meet her for photos. 15 – 20 other pets and their humans would come just to say hi! At one meet up, we even had a hedgehog stop by!

We love showcasing how Rylee is so happy and can navigate life so well even while being blind and deaf.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

Our mission is to educate others on double merles and to spread happiness to everyone who comes across us on Instagram (@rylee_thebraveaussie)

Building an audience is all about connecting with others! The more you comment and connect with others in a genuine way, the more you’ll see your numbers grown
