Robert , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
all projects I work on are meaningful in some way or another .I work on the A-Z series of alphabet posters ,these are an interesting phenomenon .Montauk for instance ,a place where I have been many times over the years and some friends and I decide to do a A-Z of the area , They had lived in montauk for 25 years and I had been hanging out with them for 10 years in montauk in the summer ,Montauk is a wonderful place all year round and we wanted to pay tribute to the old school Montauk with the landmarks and bars and sites , so with a lot of research , a lot of photographs , a lot of work to eventually come up with 26 lettered place & things relating to Montauk .
The project took 3 months to complete the drawings and then put on to a film then a screen choose the paper stock for the posters to be printed by hand in an open edition and a special edition .
It has become a great success ,I think due to the thought , love and research that went into the finished poster .
I think everyone that buys one feels like they’re taking home a piece of authentic Montauk .

Robert , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I have been an artist for a long time ,I dabble in paint and pencil ,ink and felt tip ,I draw and paint animals and i do a series of A-Z posters with some friends available on a site called AZink.art .
I am currently working on a book called DOGSPERROSHUNDSCHIENS which is a culmination of dogs and clients I have known over the 20 years I have been painting dogs .I set a series of questions to ask the dog a Q&A and I draw the dogs with their toy ,,
It is a 60 page hard back book and is only available to the dogs that are in it …
I try to make my dog portraits as much about my painting as about the dog ,so there’s a big bit of me in there ,along ,hopefully with the dog likeness ,,

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
freedom , flexibility ,a sense of self ….a joy of communication without words…

Alright – so here’s a fun one. What do you think about NFTs?
Never understood ,but you don’t pay VAT on an NFT so it’s a tax loophole bit like the church
