Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Raul Oglivie. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Raul, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
When i was like 9 -10yrs old. My father friend son was a Dj and he would throw parties at his house and we became friends. I would go over to his house to record hip hop music on cassette tapes and make like my own mixtapes of different hip hop music and that’s when i fell in love with Djing. This was before i started producing.

Raul, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I first started out as a DJ in Cincinnati, Ohio and Nashville Tn. From that experience I was intrigued by making beats and started producing some local artist in Nashville, Tn. What set me apart from others is my work ethic. When I was Nashville, Tn I would treat my basement like a dojo and constantly practice on my beats and the basics. I would liKe fans to know that i have a long body of work coming out, be ready. You about to hear ” Rawk Beatz” a lot in 2024 and many years to come.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Making and producing good music and hopefully someday be part of the Symphony.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The results and opinions of fans that here my music. Either positive or negative, it lets me know what I have improve and work on. I still an student of music and willing to learn more.
