We were lucky to catch up with Monique Wenhold recently and have shared our conversation below.

Monique, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.

Chasing your dreams sometimes is a huge risk, you can feel like an imposter, and it can be super easy to let your mind wonder and question if you will be accepted and successful when you do chase your dreams.

For myself, it felt like a huge risk when I came out of the witches broom closet and announced to the world, that I am a psychic medium, and then that I was also going to be starting a business around these gifts. My family was not very supportive, and honestly still isn’t, and I had people telling me that I would never have success or make money as spiritual entrepreneur.

I knew in my heart I would be doing a disservice to myself and to others if I listened to the lack mindsets of others, sat down and didn’t go after my dreams. If you can see who you are and what you are capable of, no can question you. And on that note, no one can believe who we are and what we do, if we don’t believe in for ourselves.

Despite not having a lot of support, I made the choice to claim my power. I took the risk and started my business, and now I have a thriving spiritual business, I get to do what I love, and most importantly I am able to be of service to others

There will be tons of people who don’t agree with your dreams, but if it brings you joy, then its worth taking the risk on yourself and your happiness.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I am a mom, a wife, and a Psychic Medium. I have had experiences with Spirit and souls who were departed since I was a little girl, but it wasn’t until my early 20’s that I accepted my gifts and learned how to communicate with Spirit and more recently with Souls in Heaven. I use my gifts to deliver messages that help people find healing, empowerment, growth, and clarity in their life and soul’s path.

I work with people for multiple things virtually and in person. I can help you connect to loved ones and animals who have passed, through a mediumship readings. These readings are always so beautiful and can help bring you messages, closer and most importantly peace.

With psychic readings, my goal is to help you receive clarity. I can work with you to help give you answers on past, current and future events. Popular topics I usually help with, involve love, money and career, but I can help you with anything that comes to mind, or anything you are needing guidance on.

Reiki is an energy healing practice that activates more life force energy inside the body to support the body’s ability to naturally heal, align and repair itself. We will help realign and balance your chakras, help remove blockages, and help you develop emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.

I also offer psychic development for those who are ready but need support to awaken their beautiful and sacred psychic gifts, and step into their true power and potential.

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?

When I started my business, I was also working a full time job and used that to help fund my business. I think there is sometimes a stigma around working a “normal” corporate job while working your business. But at the end of the day we have to make smart financial decisions in order to be successful. Working the full time job allowed me to put money back into my business and grow it to what it is today.
