We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Marian Moore. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Marian below.
Marian, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
The most meaningful project I’ve worked on is my clay art series, which centers around geometric and circular patterns, floral designs, and spiritual elements inspired by various cultural traditions. This project holds deep personal significance because it allows me to explore and express my connection to different spiritual philosophies and cultural motifs through a tactile and meditative process.
The backstory begins with my fascination for balance found in mandalas and other symmetrical circular patterns. I started experimenting with clay as a medium because it offers a physical, grounding experience that complements the spiritual symbolism I aim to convey. Each piece I create reflects my internal journey—an attempt to find unity and peace amid complexity.
What makes this project particularly meaningful is that it’s more than just art; it’s a form of contemplation and self-discovery. Each piece becomes a vessel of intention, embodying spiritual symbolism and my own personal growth. Sharing these pieces has also allowed me to connect with others who find resonance in similar themes, fostering a sense of community and mutual understanding.
In essence, my clay art is a deeply personal endeavor that combines my love for geometry, spirituality, and cultural storytelling. It’s an ongoing journey of learning and expression—one that continually enriches both myself and those who experience it.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I create a range of products and creative works, including clay pieces using polymer clay, handcrafted cards, and jewelry, all crafted using a variety of mediums. My work is rooted in a desire to infuse beauty, harmony, and meaning, offering both aesthetic appeal and a sense of connection. Whether it’s a clay piece, a meaningful card, or a piece of jewelry, my goal is to create art that invites mindfulness and reflection.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My primary goal is for my art to resonate with others in a meaningful way. I aim to create pieces that bring a sense of joy, peace, and contemplation to those who experience them. Through my work, I hope to inspire reflection and connection, fostering a space where viewers can find calm and inspiration amidst their busy lives.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
One of the most rewarding aspects of being a creative is the journey of exploration and experimentation. I love trying new techniques, exploring different mediums, and discovering new ways to express ideas. This continuous process of growth and discovery keeps my work fresh and meaningful, and it’s incredibly fulfilling to see how my art can evoke emotion and spark contemplation in others.
