Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Lynsey Goedecke. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Lynsey, appreciate you joining us today. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?
The legacy I’m building is first and foremost for my son. I want him to grow up knowing that his mom cared deeply about creating a life rooted in health, intention, and purpose. I’m passionate about showing him—through my actions—that taking care of your body and mind isn’t something you start when things go wrong; it’s a way of life you build from the start.
I hope that after I’m gone, people will say I was someone who led with love, lived with purpose, and left the world a little healthier and more hopeful than I found it. I want to be remembered for encouraging others—especially women and moms—to prioritize their well-being, build something they’re proud of, and pass down those values to the next generation.
Ultimately, I want my son to look back and see that his mom didn’t just talk about living well—she lived it.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hi, I’m Lynsey—wife, mom, and founder of LMG Health & Wellness. My journey into wellness didn’t start with a business plan. It started with a plot twist.
In 2020, while five months pregnant with our son, I lost my full-time job as a graphic designer due to the pandemic. Like many others, I was forced to pivot—but the timing felt especially overwhelming. I stepped into stay-at-home mom life for the next three years, pouring everything into my family while quietly wondering what was next for me.
Then a friend reached out with something unexpected: an opportunity to take back control of my health and explore a new purpose. What started as a personal journey to feel better turned into a mission—and eventually, a business.
Through LMG Health & Wellness, I now help women find simple, sustainable ways to support their energy, gut health, mental clarity, and daily habits. I also mentor those who want to build income from home—whether they’re navigating motherhood, burnout, or just looking for a new direction that aligns with their values.
What sets me apart is that I’ve lived the story so many women are in right now. I know what it’s like to start over, to juggle your identity as a mom and a woman, and to crave something more—more purpose, more health, more freedom. I don’t offer perfection. I offer practical tools, real-life encouragement, and a community where women can feel seen, supported, and strong again.
What I’m most proud of is that this brand was built with heart—and it continues to grow because of the people in it. Whether you’re looking to reset your habits or rediscover your spark, there’s space for you here.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I built my audience on social media by doing one simple thing—showing up consistently. Every day, I make it a priority to connect with people, whether that’s through posts, stories, comments, or direct messages. I don’t just post and hope for the best—I engage. I take the time to follow others, like and comment on their posts, and have real conversations in the DMs. That’s where the genuine relationships are built.
I’m active on both Instagram and Facebook, and one thing that’s helped me grow is following and connecting with people who are real—those who are honest about their journeys, who share value, and who truly want to build community, not just followers.
But one of the biggest pieces of advice I’d give is to get involved in your local community, too. Go to networking events, meet people face-to-face, and then continue the connection online. Social media is powerful, but when you combine it with in-person connections, it becomes so much more impactful. If you’re not getting out there and meeting people in real life, you’re missing a huge opportunity.
For anyone just starting out: be consistent, be authentic, and don’t just talk at your audience—talk with them. Ask questions, give advice, show up with value, and be a human first. The rest will grow from there.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the biggest lessons I had to unlearn was thinking that I had to do everything perfectly before I could start something new. For a long time, I let fear of not having it all figured out hold me back—whether it was launching a business, showing up on social media, or even starting a new routine for my own health. I thought if it wasn’t perfect, it wasn’t worth doing.
But motherhood—and life—taught me otherwise. I realized that waiting for the “perfect time” or the “perfect plan” was just a way of staying stuck. The real growth happened when I started taking messy action. When I showed up anyway. When I said, “This doesn’t have to be flawless—it just has to be mine.”
Now, I lean into progress over perfection. I make room for mistakes, for pivots, and for learning as I go. That mindset shift has changed everything—not only in how I show up for myself and my business, but in how I encourage other women to do the same.
