We were lucky to catch up with Latoya Lee recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Latoya, thanks for joining us today. What’s the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?

The kindest thing someone did for me was give 50,000 to invest in whatever I wanted too . It was given to me by my now ex fiancé, who is now deceased . It mattered a lot to me because I’ve always been the giver in situations so I felt like him doing that was very thoughtful and that’s the most biggest amount anyone had ever gave me . I was very grateful and excited.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My name is Latoya Lee but I go by my stage name which is “Diamond Apache “. I’m from Miami but I’ve lived in the Atlanta area for 20 years now . I’m a singer / songwriter/ and Filmmaker. I also write books,scripts and music . I started off singing in church as a child , then I started recording music at 18 . Then later I began writing and filming movies . My company is called Diamond Apache Filmz and I’ve been In bussiness since 2021 . I shoot all my own movies . I don’t really have any real issues to solve in my bussiness . I’m most proud that I had the faith and confidence to step out of my box and do something new like filming movies . One day I decided I wanted to do it and made it happen . I Want my fans to know i didn’t give up on my dreams and they shouldn’t either. If you believe in yourself anything is possible.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

Networking helped me build a reputation within my market by posting and sharing my bussiness and the things I do . It gave people an ideal of my craft and how I do things in general .

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

I had to unlearn that there are good people out here and everyone is not out to get you and to give some people the benefit of the doubt . You just have to choose people wisely in life .
