We recently connected with Kreshnik Behrami and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Kreshnik, thanks for joining us today. Do you wish you had waited to pursue your creative career or do you wish you had started sooner?
Yes — I would’ve loved to have started earlier. Starting sooner would’ve given me more time to grow, experiment, and refine my craft, and I know I’d be further along now. I really began during the pandemic, at a time when everything slowed down and creativity became an outlet for me. After that, I paused for a while as life shifted and other priorities took over, but eventually I found my way back to it with more clarity and intention.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m Kreshnik Behrami, originally from Kosovo, and I moved to the United States—specifically New York City—in 2015. From a very young age, I’ve always felt deeply connected to art and self-expression. Creativity was never just a hobby for me; it was a language, a way of understanding people, beauty, and identity.
Living in NYC for nearly 10 years played a huge role in shaping who I am creatively. Being surrounded by so many cultures, styles, and perspectives pushed me to refine my eye and develop a strong sense of individuality. That environment taught me how powerful art and aesthetics can be—not just visually, but emotionally.
What I offer through my work is more than a service; I offer confidence and self-connection. My goal is to help people feel beautiful, seen, and comfortable in their own skin. Whether it’s through styling, visual creation, or creative direction, I focus on enhancing what’s already there rather than changing who someone is. I solve the problem of self-doubt by translating identity into something tangible and empowering.
One of my proudest moments was having my work featured in Harper’s Bazaar—a milestone that validated years of passion, risk, and consistency. It reminded me that staying true to my vision can open doors I once only imagined.
Now, I’ve moved to Miami, where I’m in a new chapter—expanding my creativity, pushing boundaries, and allowing my work to evolve even further. What sets me apart is my background, my international perspective, and my genuine intention: I don’t just create for aesthetics, I create for feeling. I want clients, followers, and collaborators to know that my brand is rooted in authenticity, culture, and emotion—and that every project I touch is personal

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding part of being a creative for me is working with different people and connecting with them on a human level. It’s not just about making someone look good on the outside—it’s about helping them feel better, more confident, and more like themselves. Through each collaboration, I get to see the world from different perspectives, learn new stories, and grow as a person and an artist.
Being invited into people’s lives during their happiest moments—and sometimes even their lowest—is something I don’t take lightly. That trust is powerful, and knowing my work can bring comfort, confidence, or joy in those moments is what makes this path truly meaningful to me.

Have you ever had to pivot?
Yes — there was a moment when I truly had to pivot. After I had already started building my creative path, I stepped away for a bit because I felt pulled in a different direction. I began exploring the idea of opening a coffee shop, mainly because I love working with people and creating spaces where connection happens. It felt like a practical shift and a new kind of creative outlet at the time.
But during that pause, I realized something important: while I enjoy community and hospitality, what I do now fulfills me on a much deeper level. Creativity isn’t just something I do—it’s who I am. That realization brought me back, but with more focus, clarity, and intention than before. The pivot helped me understand my priorities, and instead of setting me back, it strengthened my commitment to my work and sharpened my vision moving forward.
