Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Juny Barkat. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Juny, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. One of our favorite things to hear about is stories around the nicest thing someone has done for someone else – what’s the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?
One of the kindest things someone has ever done for me came at a time when I was simply trying to help without expecting anything in return. I had been supporting someone as they navigated the medical needs of their mother—helping them understand the process, coordinating steps, and just being there during a stressful time.
During that season, I was also working hard to grow my mobile notary business and was saving up to purchase a printer—something essential for me to continue earning a living. Without me ever asking, that same person turned around and surprised me by purchasing the printer for me.
I remember feeling overwhelmed—not just because of the gift itself, but because it was such a genuine act of gratitude and kindness. It reminded me that when you lead with service and compassion, it has a way of coming back to you in unexpected and meaningful ways.
That moment stayed with me. It reinforced my belief that kindness creates a ripple effect, and sometimes the smallest acts of support can make the biggest difference in someone’s journey.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Juny Barkat, and I’m the owner of DFW Mobile Notary 24/7, serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area. I stepped into this industry during a very personal season of life—I needed something that would allow me to continue working while being present for my elderly mom. What started as a necessity quickly became a calling.
At first glance, notary work may seem simple—just a stamp and a signature—but I quickly realized it’s so much more than that. I often meet people in the middle of life’s most urgent and emotional moments—whether it’s handling documents in hospitals, coordinating signings for someone incarcerated, or helping families navigate international paperwork. In those moments, people aren’t just looking for a notary—they’re looking for someone they can trust.
That’s where I come in.
I provide mobile notary services, loan signings, and apostille processing, but what truly defines my work is the experience I create for my clients. Many come to me overwhelmed, unsure of the process, or under tight deadlines. I take pride in walking them through each step, simplifying what feels complicated, and ensuring everything is handled correctly the first time.
Over time, I’ve found that my role goes beyond paperwork. I’ve coordinated witnesses, made late-night visits, driven across cities, and handled situations that require patience, persistence, and heart. I don’t just complete transactions—I show up for people.
What sets me apart is the level of care I bring into every interaction. My business has grown largely through referrals, which tells me one thing: people remember how you make them feel. I want every client to feel supported, respected, and taken care of.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the impact I’ve had during difficult moments in people’s lives. When someone tells me, “I don’t know what I would have done without you,” that means everything to me. It’s a reminder that even in a service-based business, there’s an opportunity to lead with compassion.
At the heart of my brand is a simple promise: I will show up, I will guide you, and I will get it done right.
Because sometimes, what people really need isn’t just a notary—it’s someone who cares enough to go the extra mile.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
One experience that truly tested my resilience happened when I was hired by a law firm for what was described as a two-hour notary assignment. Over the phone, the scope seemed straightforward—but what wasn’t disclosed was the volume of work involved.
When I arrived, I quickly realized this was no ordinary signing. There were nearly 1,500 pages of documents that needed to be carefully notarized. It was a high-profile client, and while I’ll always respect confidentiality, the level of precision required was intense. Every page mattered—every signature, every stamp, every detail had to be perfect.
What was supposed to be a short appointment turned into nearly six hours of continuous work, without breaks. It demanded focus, endurance, and a commitment to getting it right despite the circumstances.
In the end, the law firm only compensated me for the originally quoted two hours. It was disappointing, especially knowing the level of effort and professionalism I brought to the assignment. But instead of letting that moment discourage me, I chose to grow from it.
That experience taught me the importance of clarity, boundaries, and asking the right questions upfront. It reshaped how I approach my business—ensuring that I advocate for my time, my value, and the integrity of my work.
Resilience, to me, isn’t just about pushing through difficult situations—it’s about learning, adapting, and coming back stronger with better systems in place. That moment didn’t break me; it refined me.
And today, I carry that lesson into every client interaction—showing up prepared, informed, and confident in the value I bring.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I believe my reputation has been built primarily through word-of-mouth and the experience I create for my clients. While I do have a presence on Google, the majority of my growth hasn’t come from heavy marketing—it’s come from people sharing my name because they trust me.
In my line of work, clients often reach out during urgent or sensitive situations. How you show up in those moments matters. I focus on being reliable, responsive, and genuinely supportive. I take the time to guide clients through the process, answer their questions, and make sure everything is done correctly. That level of care tends to leave a lasting impression.
Over time, those positive experiences turn into referrals. One client tells another, and that ripple effect has been incredibly powerful for my business. It’s something I take a lot of pride in because it means my work speaks for itself.
I’ve learned that consistency, professionalism, and treating every client with respect—no matter how big or small the job—is what truly builds a strong reputation. At the end of the day, people remember how you made them feel, and that’s what keeps them coming back and referring others.
