We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jori Bowman a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Jori, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?

I want to encourage you to step into what calls you. I made a choice to dive into a career that was looked down on by the average person. I decided to trust in ideas for my spiritual business. I want to help folks get a clear conscious on the doubtful thoughts, emotions and ideas that are flowing in their mind. We dive into this space by taking deep breathes to clear the mind making it easier to analyze an organize things in their favor. The idea came from me personally wishing I had someone to help me grow in this space in life, I choose to actually become that person I was asking for. Creating a business that provides crystals along with the info on them so you can use the properly. During this process I got inspired to start creating a guidebook on what it takes to meditate successfully. I since then have started teaching classes to the public. Lastly, I took the chance to provide card reading to the those online. Which I’m sure we all heard the negative stigmas from them. My goal was to inform all who are interested on the true nature of what these tools are used for a how to properly identify someone who cares about the work they do. Checking in to get a clarity they desire. I took a risk to move forward towards a career that the average person will tell doesn’t pay off. Yet it has paid off in so many ways to me personally.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Crystal Clear Clarity is a business that provides service in the metaphysical attributes. I provide intentional crystal for folks to have with them as beneficial tools for them to use. Giving a clear understanding on what they are being called towards as well as why. Making sure to use them in a correct manner. The crystals guided me to oracle card readings. I have always been attracted to how people used cards to help others. I always wanted to learn the knowledge behind them and use them for those in need. I begin doing my research on the proper way to provide accurate readings. I first started out testing the cards on myself then friends until I felt comfortable enough to card read strangers. It became an art I am in love with. My go to style of card readings is Oracle card reading dealing with Chakras. I love connecting with others to help them find alignment in life. Providing insight on things they are having trouble deciding or deciphering. It has been so refreshing to see the look of reassurance on their faces. The goal is to come out the card reading refreshed. Lastly my business offers Mediation classes, called Mediation + Mingle. It started with a podcast that I started to record for those who was looking for a way to understand what it takes to get in a meditative state. This developed into an in-person class that help folks connect the dots for them to see the whole picture on what it takes to meditate. Giving those who desire the freedom to focus on what needs attention in life. My belief system has been a strong guiding tool in my life. I am beyond grateful to have it be in the forefront of my career, Guiding to so many amazing moments of healing in life. My motto is THE MORE YOU KNOW THE MORE YOU GROW.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

The lesson I had to learn that life is not here to hurt you, it’s your job to remove the mentality of victimization and replace it with understanding everyone is going through something. This lesson taught me how to develop an impartial perspective when going through my everyday life. Not looking at any one as your enemy, instead understanding the reason someone is to something is deeper than you actually think. This way of thinking gets you into a space of resolving solution in the most ethical logical way. For everyone to stay healthy in how they handle unexpected situations in life.

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?

I believe having an approachable characteristic is one major key to being successful in this business. When constantly dealing with different client’s issues and situations. You need to have a characteristic that people feel comfortable with allowing them to be open with things that retain to their personal self-development. One that brings comfort to the client. It is so important to have time to understand how your characteristic can help or hinder business. This has help me navigate my clientele to the services needed, as well as keep them. When they see me, they know I’m bringing truthfulness and joy to the session.
