We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jordon Williams. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jordon below.
Jordon, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Do you think your parents have had a meaningful impact on you and your journey?
When I was younger, I wanted to go to school to become an esthetician. My mother encouraged me to pursue nursing instead, explaining that esthetics could remain a passion while nursing would provide more opportunities. I followed her advice and now have been a nurse for 26 years. Last year, I finally went back to school to become an esthetician. Looking back, I am grateful for my mother’s guidance because my nursing background has opened up many more doors in the esthetics field and given me opportunities I might not have had otherwise.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
I am a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with 26 years of experience who recently fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming an esthetician. My journey into healthcare began when my mother encouraged me to pursue nursing, even though my original passion was skincare and esthetics. At the time, I wasn’t sure she was right, but looking back, choosing nursing first was one of the best decisions I ever made.
Throughout my 26 year nursing career, I have had the privilege of caring for patients, building meaningful relationships, and developing a deep understanding of health, wellness, and patient care. Last year, I returned to school to become an esthetician, allowing me to combine my healthcare experience with my passion for skincare and beauty.
Today, I bring a unique perspective to the esthetics industry because of my nursing background. My knowledge of anatomy, skin health, infection control, and patient care allows me to provide services with an added level of professionalism, safety, and education. I enjoy helping clients improve their skin, boost their confidence, and feel their best both inside and out.
What sets me apart is my ability to blend healthcare knowledge with personalized skincare services. I don’t just focus on appearance; I focus on overall wellness and helping clients achieve healthy, long term results.
What I am most proud of is that I never gave up on my dream. Even after building a successful nursing career, I chose to invest in myself and pursue esthetics. My story shows that it’s never too late to follow your passion and that every experience along the way can help create even greater opportunities.
I want potential clients and followers to know that I am committed to providing compassionate care, professional service, and results driven treatments. My goal is to help every client feel confident, cared for, and empowered in their own skin.
Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
You have to be able to hear the word “No” and not take it personally. When you get told “No” just keep going eventually you will get a “Yes”.

Can you talk to us about how your funded your firm or practice?
I owe the start of my business to the love and support of my family. From the beginning, they believed in me, encouraged me to pursue my goals, and helped me make my dream of becoming an esthetician a reality. Their emotional support, guidance, and willingness to help whenever needed gave me the confidence to take this step.
After spending 26 years as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), I decided to follow my passion for esthetics. Starting a new career path later in life can be intimidating, but my family stood behind me every step of the way. Their encouragement reminded me that it is never too late to pursue a dream.
More than anything, my family invested in me. They believed in my abilities, celebrated my accomplishments, and motivated me to keep going when challenges arose. The foundation of my business is built on that support, and I am incredibly grateful for the role they played in helping me reach this point.
