We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jaylon Tyler a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jaylon , thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
I knew back when I was a child as far back as I can remember I was always singing and rapping and dancing but I’d say about 2014 I was 11 years old at the time when I was recording music on my tablet for fun but I knew I loved the music and wrote a song for a girl around that time and I knew then that music was me and I wanted to be a professional some day and I started taking it more serious in 2016 and recording on my phone a releasing tracks on sites and just doing that even hearing all the hate that I was getting I kept pushing a creating music I just knew it was my destiny

Jaylon , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I got into the Music Industry when I was a teenager I just starting dropping music independently and making a name for myself and I make HipHop R&B Pop music I’ve done over 14 Million views and gained fans all over the world even tho I’m underground what sets me apart from other artists my music is always unique and different and I get into other lanes and staying true to myself at all times I’m most proud of my accomplishments such as being featured in 50 Cents website thisis50 somebody I’ve looked up to my whole career and having my album Letter To Xo reach 139,000 streams I’m a young artist who is gonna change the world I want them to feel my music

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding part of being of an artist is being able to express yourself inside of your art and create what you feel and really put your mind thoughts and soul out to the world that’s so a beautiful thing honestly

Alright – so here’s a fun one. What do you think about NFTs?
NFTs are so dope I sold my music as an NFT in 2021 and I made revenue selling directly to fans that was so great and made me feel like it’s great for artists to have more ways to monetize in this game
