Alright, Janelle thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?

I think it takes long days and even longer nights to become successful. It’s definitely not something that happens overnight. It’s all about consistency. No matter how hard things get, DON’T GIVE UP! You’re going to go through some rough times and feel like it’s not worth it, but it is!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

It all started in 2017. My beautiful baby girl was born and I didn’t want to leave her with anyone but I still wanted to make money. So, my husband and I had a long talk about my idea and we went for it. I started out with Chocolate dipped strawberries and I just kept going from there. Now I offer a large variety of items. Such as, cakes, treats, desserts pans/jars, flans, chocoflans, cheesecakes, pies, etc!

I try to make sales and specials that are for everyone’s budget. I know with having kids you want to give them the best memorable parties and I definitely try my best to help with that! I’ve built my clientele over the years and have my regulars that always order from me for any event they have. It’s definitely a great feeling to have come so far.

I want all my clients/followers to know that I put so much love into my desserts! It makes me happy to see people happy. ❤️

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

The way I built up my social media platform was really just being consistent. I post EVERY DAY on multiple pages on social media. People think “oh, they might get annoyed if I keep posting.” Some probably will, but everyone is going to end up knowing your name/business because of it! And til this day I still do it.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

I think a very effective strategy is creating sales every now and than. It draws in attention to you and your business because most people can’t resist specials/sales lol
