We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful JANE JORDAN. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with JANE below.
JANE, appreciate you joining us today. Getting that first client is always an exciting milestone. Can you talk to us about how you got your first customer who wasn’t a friend, family, or acquaintance?
My first client came through a relationship and a referral. A gentleman I knew told me he was friends with a transportation coordinator who worked closely with nursing homes and social workers. He believed in what I was trying to build and offered to share my information.
The very next day, I received a phone call. The coordinator explained that a local nursing home was looking for someone to provide transportation services for its residents. He asked If I could meet with him and bring my van so the social worker could see it and meet me in person.
I remember feeling so excited, nervous, and grateful all at the same time. This was an opportunity I had been hoping and praying for. When I arrived, the social worker inspected the van, asked questions about my services, and got to know me. By the end of the meeting, she drew me up a transportation contract and offered me the opportunity to serve their residents.
What stands out the most to me is how quickly everything happened. One conversation led to a referral, one referral led to a phone call. and one meeting led to my first contract. It was a blessing that reminded me of the importance of relationships, preparation, and faith. That day, I realized my business was no longer just and idea- it had become a reality

JANE, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Jane Jordan, and I am the owner of Simply Love Transportation. I started this business because I have always had a heart for helping people, especially seniors and individuals who need reliable transportation to medical appointments, treatments, and other essential destinations.
My background is in caregiving and healthcare. as a Certified Nursing Assistant, I have spent years serving others and understanding the challenges that many seniors and families face when it comes to safe, dependable transportation. I saw a need in my community and decided to create a service that provides more than just a ride- it provides peace of mind.
Simply Love Transportation specializes in non-emergency transportation services. Our goal is to help clients maintain their independence while ensuring they arrive safely and comfortably to their appointments. We work hard to provide compassionate, professional, and dependable service.
What sets us apart is our commitment to treating every client with dignity, patience, and respect. We understand that many of the people we serve may be elderly, disabled or facing health challenges . We believe transportation should be delivered with kindness and care, not just efficiency.
I am most proud of building a business that allows me to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Every ride is an opportunity to serve someone, encourage someone, and make their day a little easier.
The main thing I want potential clients and partners to know is that Simply Love Transportation was built on faith, compassion and a genuine desire to help others. Our name reflects our mission- to serve people with simplicity, professionalism, and love

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
One story that illustrates my resilience began when I was just 5 years old. I experienced a tragic loss that changed my life forever. Growing up, I carried the pain and challenges that came with that experience, but I made a decision not to let my past define my future. Over the years, I worked hard to build a life centered on faith, family, and helping others. I became a Certified Nursing Assistant and dedicated my career to caring for people in need.
Later, I started my own transportation business to continue serving seniors and individuals who depend on reliable transportation.
There were many obstacles along the way, but each challenge taught me perseverance, patience, and determination. My journey has shown me that difficult circumstances do not have to determine the outcome of your life. Today, I use my experiences as motivation to keep moving forward and to encourage others who may be facing their own struggles. The greatest lesson I have learned is that resilience is not about what happens to you – but it’s about how you respond to it.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
One lesson I had to unlearn was thinking that my past would always define my future. After experiencing a tragic loss at a very young age, I carried a lot of pain and hurt with me for many years. At times, it felt like what happened to me would always be the first thing people saw. As I got older, I realized I had a choice. I could allow my past to hold me back, or I could use it as motivation to move forward. I had to unlearn the belief that I was limited by my circumstances and learn to believe in my potential instead. That change in mindset helped me build a career caring for others, start my own transportation business, and continue pursuing my goals despite challenges. It also taught me the importance of faith, perseverance, and personal growth. Today, I believe one of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is that your past may explain part of your story, but it does not have to determine your future. What matters most is what you choose to do next.
