We recently connected with Dstany Williams and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Dstany thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. If you could go back in time do you wish you had started your business sooner or later?
I would absolutely dial the clock back and start sooner. For a long time, I let ‘waiting for the right time’ keep me from actually making any moves at all. I was almost paralyzed by the idea that everything had to be flawless before I could step out.
When I finally dipped my toes into entrepreneurship, I was balancing a career in an environment where you are literally trained to avoid mistakes at all costs. But over time, I’ve learned the hard way that there is no such thing as perfection. Waiting for the ‘perfect moment’ is just a trap that delays your growth. The real magic is starting so you can learn from your stumbles and pivot as you go along.
If I had started sooner, I think I’d be much further along by now. I’m usually a fast learner, so giving my past self a few more years to fail forward and iterate would have been a massive strategic advantage. I am deeply obsessed with my current growth and the rock-solid foundation my corporate background gave me, but looking back? I’d tell my younger self to stop waiting for the stars to align, and just try.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
At my core, I am a creative strategist, event curator, and pleasure-forward storyteller. While my professional background gives me the blueprint to build seamless experiences, my heart has always belonged to a different mission.
I’ve been extremely sex-positive for as long as I can remember. I knew very early on that I wanted to step into the sex education space to help women learn about their bodies, navigate the natural changes they go through, and show them that they aren’t alone. In 2020, I officially took the leap into entrepreneurship.
Today, I create engaging sex education content and host women’s wellness socials. My signature event, Rosé & Lingerie, is an annual, intimate celebration of femininity, self-care, and total-body wellness. Designed for women 21+, the event invites attendees to explore pleasure as an essential part of well-being while feeling empowered in their sexual health and self-expression. Guests arrive in lingerie as an act of self-celebration—honoring body positivity, confidence, and feminine energy. Through thoughtfully curated activities, guest speakers, and social sips, we create a safe, intentional, and affirming space for authentic connection and sisterhood among women in Central Florida.
The biggest problem I solve for my clients is a deeply modern one: the difficulty of making genuine friends as adults. I specialize in bringing women together who share a mutual interest in learning, unlearning, and shedding the societal taboos around their bodies and desires. What sets me apart is my ability to blend a polished, high-end aesthetic with deeply vulnerable, impactful experiences. I don’t just host events; I curate safe containers for transformation.
Looking back, I am most proud of my growth, the incredible women I have the privilege of meeting, and the fierce, supportive community I’ve built from the ground up. I still can’t get over women approaching me in public saying they’ve seen my content or learned something new from it. I cry (proudly) everytime.
What I want potential clients, followers, and fans to know about my brand is that everything I do is rooted in intention, authenticity, and impact. We are dismantling the isolation that often surrounds women’s wellness and replacing it with sisterhood and education. Whether you are interacting with our content or stepping into one of our spaces, you are entering a judgment-free zone where pleasure is prioritized, confidence is non-negotiable, and you are never alone in your journey.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Building an audience in the sexual wellness space requires you to be part digital marketer, part creative outlaw. Because let’s be honest: censorship on social media is a massive hurdle when it comes to sex education. The shadowbans are real, the algorithms are notoriously sensitive, and the standard educational formats often get suppressed.
To build my presence, I had to master the art of the pivot. Instead of fighting the platforms head-on, I leaned into trends and completely unconventional storytelling methods to introduce and relate to sex education. I learned how to use mainstream trends with deeply informative, sex-positive messaging. For the most part, I managed to bypass the digital gatekeepers and capture the attention of a brand-new audience that was starving for this exact conversation.
If I could offer any advice to those just starting to build their social media presence, it’s this: embrace the restriction as a creative challenge, and stop trying to sound like a textbook.
When the conventional path is blocked by censorship or heavy competition, you have to find your own backdoor. Look at what is currently trending in mainstream pop culture, fashion, or humor, and ask yourself, ‘How can I bridge this gap to my niche?’ It takes an immense amount of trial, error, and hard work to find your unique digital voice, but authenticity is algorithm-proof. Don’t wait for the platform to make it easy for you. Lean into your perspective, get creative with your visuals, and remember that your community is actively looking for you—you just have to give them a pathway to find you.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
While digital marketing has its place, my most effective growth strategy has been beautifully traditional: word of mouth and the loyalty of repeat guests.
Asking a woman to walk into a room of strangers and celebrate her body in her lingerie requires immense trust. You can’t sell that through a cold social media ad; it has to be felt. When a guest leaves one of our socials feeling deeply seen and empowered, she naturally becomes an evangelist for the brand, bringing her friends and sisters into the fold next time.
Beyond that, my growth is rooted in genuine collaboration. I actively support other local creatives and wellness entrepreneurs because I don’t believe in competition.
