We recently connected with Curtis Greene and have shared our conversation below.
Curtis , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Has your work ever been misunderstood or mischaracterized?
I’ve been accused or being irrational and crazy because I’m passionate about what I believe in and about fairness. I can be aggressive when I feel as if my intellect is being overlooked, that’s caused many political fallouts. But my intentions were always pure I only wanted the best for myself and my community. Since I was so headstrong people didn’t support my projects as they maybe would have but who really knows most people support celebrities more than people that they know and that they hang out with daily. It seems only when you’re dead is brilliance your valued. But God’s timing will reveal all and maybe I’m over zealous and sour grapes.

Curtis , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m really into this new AI wave. I’m a creator of artificial intelligence. I’ve written three books I’m working on the 4th about my time doing door dashing and doing Uber Eats to teach people how to make it least $1100 a week as I did for 10 weeks in a row before they blocked my accounts. Hopefully their system hasn’t changed cause I mastered it. I’m looking to land clients that will buy my AI videos, do commercials for their companies, and possibly give me an opportunity to run their social media accounts. I’m currently I’m a lawn Tech and license applicator for TruGreen. I do it all I even treat lawns.

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
If people really cared about quality over what’s popular I believe creators would be in a better place than they are now. Because in the old days it was more about talent now it’s more about being popular. It doesn’t matter what you’re popular for it could be the dumbest thing. And I think that takes a lot away from creators and it blocks a lot of progress and a lot of beauty could be given to the world but they’re so stuck on followings and trying to keep up with this wave of followers. It just doesn’t make much sense creativity is not microwaved it’s something that God gives you and people should cherish it and we’re missing that now.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I’ve always had to come from behind. I came from a life of crime. I went through the flip the script program under the leadership of Keith Bennett Who was the CEO. I grew my knowledge. My math was on the third grade level and my reading was on the 4th grade level and I graduated from high school but I smoked so much marijuana and did so many ecstasy pills that I forgot nearly my entire education. But I continued to fight and I continued to grow and I became hungry for knowledge and college catered to that. Now I’m a adamant reader and I have no ceiling to my learning I can learn whatever I have time to learn. I believe that’s going to put me ahead of the curve once God really gives me my chance to make my voice heard and to show the world who I am. I always had to come from behind.
