We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Briana Lewis a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Briana, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today One of the most important things we can do as business owners is ensure that our customers feel appreciated. What’s something you’ve done or seen a business owner do to help a customer feel valued?
Beauty services are a lot of women’s chance to reset, recharge, and walk away feeling more confident and beautiful so creating that moment for them is something I always treasure! There’s always girl talk, laughter, and real conversations happening during services, so it’s hard not to build genuine relationships with so many of my clients.
To show my appreciation I remember the little details from each visit. Those details also help me personalize every service to them. I also offer loyalty and referral rewards, plus special holiday gift bags as small ways to say thank you for trusting me and continuing to support my business.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Briana and I’ve been a licensed esthetician since 2016. This October will officially make 10 years in this industry and wow it doesn’t feel like it’s been that long! Before that, I grew up admiring my mom while watching her do her makeup, hair and skincare and she would always find me messing with her things…even when I wasn’t allowed. I loved all things beauty from a young girl and that love grew from playing in cobalt blue eyeshadow and ruby red lipstick, to years later now being a business owner providing
beauty services from lash extensions, and makeup to brow services and waxing! The services offered are geared to help women feel confident and look beautiful with little to no effort. I’m a mom now and mornings can been super hectic so having my lashes and brows done help me look pretty and put together even when I only have 5 minutes to get ready for the day and that feeling is priceless.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I love using an app called Gloss Genius to keep in touch with my clients. Through text and email I am able to keep my brand communications and updates seamless which makes my clients trust my expertise and my professionalism.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
My most effective and also my favorite strategy is client referrals! I make such genuine connections with my clients so when they refer their friends or family members to me, it always feels like a big hug of appreciation from them. It’s the best because it’s kind of like the warm up and introduction has already been done for me. I know that the new client already has some trust with me because they trust their friend or family member and I know my client trust me because she is sharing my business with others!
