We recently connected with Bri Toria and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Bri , thanks for joining us today. Do you wish you had waited to pursue your creative career or do you wish you had started sooner?
I started my music journey at a moment when I needed it most—right in the middle of figuring out who I was and how I wanted to express myself. Starting sooner might have given me more technical skill early on, but I wouldn’t have had the life experiences that shape my sound today. Waiting longer could have polished me more, but I might have lost that raw authenticity. So for me, the timing was perfect—my music grew alongside my growth, and that’s what makes it real.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
The name is Bri Toria , a singer, songwriter, and a true creative storyteller. I got into music as a way to process life, share my experiences, and connect with people on a deep, emotional level. My work spans soulful vocals, vibey turn-up tracks, and music that blends introspection with energy you can feel in your chest. I create songs that make people feel seen, inspired, or just let them escape into a mood—they’re for anyone who wants music that resonates on more than just a surface level.
What sets me apart is the authenticity behind everything I do—I don’t just make music; I make experiences. I’m proud of building a body of work that reflects my spiritual journey, my personal growth, and my commitment to connecting with fans honestly. For anyone discovering my work, I want them to know that my music is a space for emotional truth, empowerment, and connection, and that every track is a piece of my story

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
One story that really shows my resilience is from when I first started releasing music. The talent and passion were there, but what I lacked was clout/popularity and genuine true support. Doors weren’t opening for me, not because I wasn’t ready, but because breaking in without that sometimes can feel impossible. Still, I kept creating, performing, and putting my truth into my music. Over time, my persistence built real recognition and a following that genuinely connected with my work. That experience taught me that resilience is about staying committed to your vision, even when a small part of the world isn’t supportive

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding part of being an artist is the connection. Creating music isn’t just about expressing myself—it’s about reaching someone on the other side who feels seen, understood, or inspired by what I put out. When a song resonates with someone’s life, or helps them feel a feeling they couldn’t put into words, that’s when I know my work truly matters. Beyond the craft itself, it’s knowing that my music can be a companion, a boost, or even a safe space for people that makes it all worth it.
