At a facility hospice visit with Rosie the Rabbiter, we were with an elderly, very frail female patient. I was showing her Rosie’s big feet and commenting on how big and soft they were. This sweet lady reached up to feel Rosies paw and said “Lawd have mercy”…… you could tell she was enjoying the interaction. She passed approx 48 hours later. I can only hope that we brought a tiny bit of joy to her last hours. Read more>>

While I have had many great client interactions, one stands out in particular. This particular client was in her late 60s and feeling quite uninspired about life in general. While working with her, we focused on what she wanted more of and how to move closer to those things, rather than letting them slip away. As a matter of reference there is actually a story that challenges me to continue in my business but also in the development of myS.E.L.F.
I had a young lady who I was assisting and would providing an ear from time to time for her to have a safe space to share. I received a call from her mother in which the relationship between the two was strained. Mom says, “my daughter said you gave her a voice and a face to her pain and she discovered that she was living her life to fulfill my dreams and she isn’t happy.” Read more>>
