Owning a business is challenging – from increasing costs, regulations, competition and more the day to day of being a business owner if often far from glamorous. However, the reason so many of us do what we do is the moments when we are able to come through in a big way for our clients. The moments when we know we’ve made a real difference. Every entrepreneur we know wants to increase the frequency of those moments and so we think one of the best ways to do that is by having people share their stories with others – we can all learn from each other and become better recognizing and executing on opportunities to help our clients win.

Nothing makes me happier than assisting a new client, and even a few old ones, achieve their heart’s desire. Recently, a new client contacted me for a branding project that needed to be done “yesterday”. There’s no greater feeling than creating a logo that fits my client’s needs and vision. Read more>>

I struggled with acne as a teen and into my early 20s. I remember I spent so much money going from dermatologist to dermatologist and aesthetician to aesthetician trying to find someone who could help me clear my skin. I can’t tell you how much money I wasted for years and years. Acne is very misunderstood in our industry. We are taught to burn it, peel it off, ect. I fell in love with spas and facials so I decided to be an esthetician. Everything I learned in school made my skin worse. I then went through the oncology program and learned about healing the skin and repairing the barrier. As a professional wildlife photographer, I’ve gone through the ringer of figuring things out the hard way. I take my 12 years of experience and help my clients achieve their dream shots they are seeking. It takes a lot more than just going out and pressing the shutter button in the classic spray and pray fashion. I guide my clients on the process they should be taking to set themselves up for the shot. That is ensuring they’re prepared and understand the proper camera settings and composition. Next level is understanding animal behavior, knowing the landscape, and anticipating their movements. Read more>>

One of the first things this client told me was that she just wanted to have people over again and not be embarrassed. She wanted her kids to have friends spend the night, and family over for the upcoming holidays. But things (quite literally) had overrun their house. Tears and frustrations were shared and then we rolled up our sleeves and dived in. Being a professional organizer is more than finding the pretty containers to have in the pantry especially for this client. She wanted her life back. Over several sessions we chipped away at the main floor going through boxes and piles, sorting into keep or donate. While it wasn’t “perfect” by Instagram standards, she was so excited to tell me that her family was able to come over for Thanksgiving and they had a lovely time. As she put it “we have transformed our house into a livable home again.” Read more>>
