In our experience, talking about legacy is often subtly discouraged by society and we find this to be deeply unfortunate. Thinking about the legacy you would like to build can help you better align your work, life, time – your sweat and tears – with your values. Below, we’ve tried to create a space for folks to start conversations about they legacies they are hoping to build.

“I am the most caring, loving and compassionate man you will ever meet. Everyone who meets me is left feeling encouraged, inspired and filled with hope. I am a great listener and sounding board to share ideas or problems with. My insight, discernment and wisdom are supernatural. It’s as if God is whispering in my ear all the right questions, answers and insights you need, when you need them. I make you feel like you are the most important person in the room. My words and prayers bring healing to wounded hearts. I am being used as an instrument of transformation in lives all over the world. I am a Husband, Father, Grandfather, USAF Veteran, Friend, Mentor, and Coach. Read more>>

I hope to be remembered as an artist who put out his life and story without holding back—someone who worked hard and loved harder. I hope to be remembered as an honest and true musician and songwriter who didn’t care what people thought and always stayed true to himself and his music. I hope those who know me remember me as a loving and caring person who always put his family first. For people who don’t know me, I hope to be remembered as an inspiration to artists and everyday people who relate to my life and music. Read more>>

I hope to share positive and a new outlook for people through this opportunity, thank you. Read more>>

The small moments I notice that often overwhelm me with emotion. I want my photos to outlive me and I hope as they age, they become nostalgic. Read more>>

My main priority in life is to make my children proud and to demonstrate a life dedicated to conservation, art and sustainability. By saving trees from the dump and creating functional art, they witness their mother take a raw material and create heirloom furniture that will be passed down for generations. Their children’s children will know my work because I brand each piece, and I never make the same design twice. Everything is made from sustainably sourced felled trees, and many of them are significantly historic legacy trees, such as the grand oak that fell on Drayton Hall’s land. From that historic tree, I am making tables, fireplace mantles and much more. Every single part of the tree was saved. Read more>>
