Below, we’ve tried to create a space for folks to start conversations about they legacies they are hoping to build.

To be more specific, I see things in value differently. I wanna be a human that enhances someone’s life through my art, discipline and actions even if it’s just one person. I want my daughter to grow up and be proud to say I’m ANUQN’s daughter because of my mom, I became a good person. I want to be remembered as a human who cared, and gave to her community. I know that each person in this life wants to be able to make a difference, I think it is in our human nature to want our legacy to live on beyond us. If there is a legacy that I could leave, it would be my faith, and that it is something that you can make known and be proud of. I feel that especially in this industry it is so easy to have your head get ‘lost in the clouds’, faith is that pillar that not only keeps you grounded but also gets you through when stress levels are high and economic times are uncertain. I am apart of a legacy of strength, endurance, intelligence and hard workers. I would like to extend my legacy and build generational wealth, businesses and positive growth that will last a lifetime. One thing I have learned in my life span is that you can give, share and love and there will always be something said about you that is not true and it still won’t be enough. I hope to be remembered for the good things that I have given back to my family, community and the world. When my name is spoken that it will be of positivity in helping someone to excel in whatever they are wanting out of life. What comes from the heart reaches the heart and I’m so glad that God knows my heart! Read more>>

A legacy that inspires and encourages others to think, believe & achieve. It all began in 2017 working for myself as a natural lash specialist with the intent to prove I have what it takes to create a new story for MY life. I realized a job was not for me with 7+ years of experience building businesses & dreams for employers. I gathered all of my job-related skills and applied them to my daily lifestyle and what I love. While listening to business successors and observing the masses while doing the opposite, I’m 5 years later operating a successful beauty business starting from my home to my own storefront suite, I have built my dream life by keeping the promises I made to myself. I have two daughters that are my world. Everything I do is for them. With building my company and sacrificing so much, I often think of legacy. I am really working towards building a company that not only I am proud of, but they are too. I often think that one day they will take over and put an even fresher spin of what I’ve built. My oldest is very smart with numbers and organization and my youngest has a natural eye for design and art. Then it just continues from there, generation after generation. I work with a lot of craftsmen who’s grandfathers started the business. To me, that’s true success. Read more>>

I hope my legacy will be one that teaches my kids and grandkids how to be kind and caring. How to be brave and take on challenges that seem scary. I hope they’ve learned not to let fear rule their lives, to believe in themselves and know they matter. I hope I’ve taught them those lessons by example. I hope I’ve showed them that we learn from our mistakes and know those mistakes enable us to do better the next time because of the lessons we’ve learned…I hope my legacy helps to teach others how to enjoy life, be happy, trust themselves, take risks, laugh out loud, live with integrity, and how important it is to persevere. We strive to be remembered as the company that worked harder and did more than the others. We dive pools and save a bunch of water because we are aquaman or are aquatic.. what we do takes more time and energy but what we do saves water the same day and saves people from many times unnecessary repair costs. We are the best pool leak detection service. Our leak detection costs more than others but so much more is included in what we do. We want to be remembered for being a service that really helps people and does everything in our capability like we’re doing a job for our own family every single job. Read more>>

I’m not sure most business owners think of legacy when starting their entrepreneurial journey, but it most certainly should be considered, because realized or not, a legacy is built right along with the business. The business is a living entity of it’s own, so if we think of it like this, we realize, it can go on with or without us. Its name will live on. When I think of other vintage brands, my mind drifts to the qualities they have made mainstream, or the values they have instilled. Read more>>

We all have the desire to be remembered personally, my desire is to have my poetry out in the world for others. My poetry is full of experiences good and bad, and I struggled to find words that represented how I felt during the loss of my mother. I felt like there was plenty of poetry about flowers and love but not enough of grief. I had always been a poet but never shared any of it with the world. In my time of need, I realized that my words could help others in their healing journeys. Read more>>
