We were lucky to catch up with Archeila Riley recently and have shared our conversation below.
Archeila, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
While I was going through Esthetics School, I decided what colors I wanted to represent my business and for my logo! I purchased my own sheets and effects to use when I had clients book with me. The idea was to get myself out of the comfort zone and give clients that booked with me a unique experience as if they were in my own spa. While in school, I trained myself to execute as if I were already a solo Esthetician! I’m so glad that I had the vision and fully executed while in training!

Archeila, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Skin Savvy Esthetics was officially started June 20, 2025. But the vision was already in place as a student while undergoing my studies. Skin Savvy Esthetics’ tagging is “Helping Others Love the Skin They’re In!” Our brand focuses on helping to restore confidence and overall wellness by educating and showing people how to take ownership of their skincare health while instilling in them principles of self-care and self-love. People return not only because the wonderful services we provide, but because of the experience we give them. This is a snippet of what we stand for and how we intend to impact the beauty industry for years to come.
Those that are clients and fans of my brand know how I take pride in providing top tier customer service and customized experiences for my clients. I am constantly learning new skills and ways to improve my services because as an Esthetician, you should never stop learning!

Have you ever had to pivot?
The same year I attended an Entrepreneurship Business Course with a Non-profit that helped current or aspiring to become business owners, I started Esthetics School! The Entrepreneurship program that I attended for 8 weeks, I actually completed plans for a different type of business other than Esthetics. When I learned I learned I had gotten accepted into Esthetics School, I quickly pivoted towards focusing on Esthetics.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Now this is something I’m most proud of because most people have issues with how much social media presence is required in this industry. I’ve literally had to push past discomforts and reinvent myself to learn how to show up for my business and build a following! Those that are trying build or want improve, you must show up EVERYDAY om social media! You must make content that is educational, fun, but also shows your skills! Make yourself a schedule to follow as far as how often you want to post each day! If you run out of content, don’t be afraid to repost old posts that can still attract new potential clients to your business! Make yourself present each day! Preferably at least 3 times a day!
