Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Priscilla Perez. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Priscilla, thanks for joining us today. Going back to the beginning – how did you come up with the idea in the first place?
For a time, I wanted to be an Instagram model, wearing modest dresses that highlighted my curves. Although I was technically covered, something still felt empty inside. I thought it would bring fulfillment, but deep down I knew something was missing.
Everything began to change when I gave my life to God and chose to follow Jesus Christ. As my relationship with Him grew, my perspective on many things began to shift including the way I dressed. Even though my dresses were modest in coverage, I started to feel convicted that the way they emphasized my curves no longer aligned with the life God was calling me to live.
In faith, I made the decision to throw away those dresses. I didn’t know what my next step would be, but I trusted that God was guiding me. I discovered a new purpose. Instead of simply modeling clothing, I began embracing true modest fashion while sharing the message of God through scripture from the Bible.
What once felt empty has now been replaced with purpose. Today, my goal is not to draw attention to myself, but to glorify God and point others toward Jesus Christ through both faith and fashion. I also let go of my social media name Alesasia and used my real name Priscilla.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My journey into modest fashion began through a personal transformation in my faith. At one point, I wanted to become an Instagram model and wore modest dresses that were covered, but still emphasized my curves. Although it appeared modest on the outside, I felt something was missing. The attention and image I thought would bring fulfillment didn’t truly satisfy my heart.
When I gave my life to God and committed to following Jesus Christ, my perspective began to change. As my faith grew, I started to view modesty differently. I felt called to dress in a way that reflected humility and honored God more deeply. In faith, I made the decision to let go of the dresses I once wore, even though I didn’t yet know what direction God would lead me next.
Over time, that step of obedience led me into what I now do today. I began creating and sharing true modest fashion while incorporating scripture from the Bible. My work combines faith and fashion in a way that encourages women to express their style while also reflecting their values.
What sets my work apart is that it isn’t just about clothing or appearance. My goal is to create a space where modesty is connected to faith, purpose, and identity in God. Through my content, I hope to inspire women to see that modesty can be beautiful, dignified, and meaningful.
What I am most proud of is being able to use my platform to glorify God and point others toward Jesus Christ. I want people who follow my work to know that my brand is built on faith, authenticity, and the desire to encourage others to pursue a life that honors God in every area—including the way we present ourselves

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
One of the biggest lessons I had to unlearn was the idea that being “modest” simply meant being covered. For a long time, I believed that as long as my clothing wasn’t revealing, it was automatically modest. But as my relationship with God deepened and I began following Jesus Christ, I realized that modesty is not only about coverage it’s also about the intention of the heart and what our clothing communicates.
I had to rethink the belief that fashion needed to highlight my body in order to be beautiful or appreciated. I learned that true modesty is about reflecting humility and honoring God in the way we present ourselves. That shift in understanding changed everything for me.
Letting go of my old perspective opened the door for a new purpose. Instead of using fashion for attention or validation, I now use modest fashion as a way to reflect my faith and share encouragement through scripture from the Bible. It taught me that modesty can be both beautiful and meaningful when it comes from a place of faith

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
One resource I wish I had discovered earlier is guidance on faith-based modest fashion something that combines style with purpose and helps women dress in a way that truly honors God. When I first started, I didn’t realize that modesty isn’t just about being covered; it’s about the heart, intention, and the message our clothing sends.
Now, I want to be that resource for other women—showing them that modest fashion can be beautiful, empowering, and glorifying to God.
