Their wins are your wins and often it’s what makes all the challenges of running a business worth it. A client named Joe was planning his baby shower and wanted everything to be perfect, especially the food, as it was a central part of the celebration. He envisioned a menu that reflected both him and his partner’s diverse cultural backgrounds, but he was unsure how to blend these cuisines seamlessly. Additionally, Joe was concerned about accommodating various dietary restrictions among his guests, including vegetarian, gluten-free, and nut-free options. Read more>>

I’m happy to shift the focus a bit to match “Is there something you do other than the industry standard?”
OR — What does corporate america get wrong in your industry? I can explain that all the big box companies use the cheapest ingredients, methods, and brainwash what’s important using Billions in marketing dollars and their practices lead to a cyclical process of failed indoor plants for everyone leading to everything thinking plants are hard and they don’t need to be. When Jonathan (name changed for privacy) first reached out to me, he wasn’t just looking for a home renovation. He was searching for a reset. At the time, he thought he just needed new furniture and better lighting, but deep down, he knew he was seeking something much bigger. His beloved cat had recently passed away, his long-term relationship had ended, and his apartment, once a place of comfort, felt like it belonged to someone he no longer was. His life had changed, but his space hadn’t. Read more>>

A young lady brought us an intricate design created by her tattoo artist as a wedding present and asked if there was any chance that we could embroider it on the back of the denim jacket she planned to wear at her bachelorette party and on her honeymoon. We asked when she needed it and were told that the bachelorette party was less than two weeks away. We explained that it would be challenging to create an embroidery file of the design and to embroider it on her jacket 9″ tall by 8″ wide in time for her bachelorette party; but we would do our best to get it done. The design we created had more than 68 thousand stitches and 261 elements. Read more>>

Every photoshoot has its own story, but some leave a lasting impression on your heart. One such moment came during a maternity session that I will never forget.
A lovely client reached out to me for her maternity shoot. Due to some personal and health reasons, she booked the session close to her due date, leaving little room for flexibility in rescheduling. We set the date, hoping for the best—but nature had other plans. When the day arrived, it was freezing cold, with snow covering the ground and black ice making movement a challenge. Read more>>

The impact we are having with Curveture has been made so clear in the interactions we have with our customers. A few weeks ago, we had not one, but multiple customers visit our shop and be so touched and encouraged by the beautiful, welcoming, body-positive environment we have created that they actually broke down in tears of appreciation. One of these women expressed that she finally felt seen and valued in a way that she had never experienced before, and asked if she could give my co-founder, Taudine, a hug. With Curveture, what we’re offering is so much more than retail therapy—it’s real validation, empowerment, and freedom of expression for this group of women who so often get left out and undervalued in multiple ways in our society. I joined USA Artistic Swimming as Communications Manager in October 2023, bringing with me seven years of experience in sports communications. However, Artistic Swimming (formerly known as Synchronized Swimming) was a new territory for me, and I was still learning the ropes.
Just a few months into the role, our team was headed to Doha, Qatar, for one of the most pivotal moments in our history: the final opportunity to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. My responsibilities at the event included capturing photos during the competition, sharing live results, writing press releases, handling media interviews, and maintaining excitement and engagement across our social media channels during the two-week event.
