Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Alexander Garrett. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alexander , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
When I launched my business as a college student at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013, the vision was clear: to create an affordable solution for businesses to access high-impact marketing content that would help them grow and thrive. But turning that vision into reality was a journey filled with challenges, learning, and relentless effort.
The first step was drafting a solid business plan and seeking guidance. I reached out to anyone willing to share their experience—whether they were seasoned entrepreneurs or just starting themselves. I’d have brief conversations, asking about their biggest mistakes and lessons learned. Those insights became invaluable as I navigated my path forward.
When the business began to gain traction, the first year tested my resilience like nothing before. Juggling the demands of a full-time college schedule while running a business solo was overwhelming. I handled everything myself—prospecting, making sales calls, designing websites, creating content, and physically promoting the brand to build awareness. It was a grind that often left me questioning whether I was cut out for this.
Despite the struggles, those early days taught me something essential: the process matters more than the destination. If I started something, I had to see it through—no excuses. That mindset became my anchor as I pushed forward.
To grow the business beyond its initial phase, I realized I had to move beyond my existing network. Growth required stepping into unfamiliar territory—introducing myself to new people and businesses, attending networking events, seminars, and forward-facing engagements. I even did work for free to get my name and brand out there. The saying, “It’s not what you know, but who you know,” proved truer than ever. The opportunities that helped me scale came from connections I had yet to make.
While those early years were some of the most challenging of my life, they shaped both me and the business. They taught me the value of persistence, adaptability, and the importance of continually putting myself in new rooms to grow. It wasn’t easy—and it still isn’t—but the journey has been worth every step.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My journey into this industry began with a simple but powerful idea: to make high-quality, effective marketing content accessible and affordable for businesses of all sizes. I’ve always believed that every business, no matter its budget, deserves the opportunity to tell its story and connect with its audience in a meaningful way.
At Pano Marketing Solutions, we specialize in creating a wide range of content to help businesses grow. From high-end video production and branding to AI-powered content creation, we cover it all. Our work includes award-winning commercials, captivating “About Us” videos, explainer videos, and much more. Recently, we’ve developed an AI tool that allows businesses—especially small ones—to create professional-grade content with ease, cutting costs while increasing output.
What sets us apart is our attention to detail and our genuine passion for helping businesses succeed. Every project we take on is treated as if it’s for our own brand. We immerse ourselves in our clients’ goals, creating content that not only looks great but also drives results. Our motto has always been to “make the neighborhood look good”—we believe that when businesses thrive, communities do too.
One of the problems we solve for our clients is the overwhelming task of navigating the world of digital content. Many business owners don’t have the time, expertise, or budget to execute effective marketing strategies. We take that burden off their shoulders, crafting content that aligns with their vision while giving them back time to focus on what they do best.
I’m most proud of the impact we’ve had on our clients and their growth. Seeing a business thrive because of something we created is the most rewarding part of what I do. I’m also proud of how far Pano Marketing Solutions has come—from being a one-person operation in college to becoming a leader in AI-driven content creation.
For potential clients, followers, or fans, what I want them to know about Pano Marketing Solutions is that we’re here to partner with them on their journey. Whether they’re just starting out or looking to scale, we’re passionate about helping them tell their story in a way that leaves a lasting impression. It’s not just about creating content—it’s about creating connections.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
A lesson I had to unlearn as a business owner was the idea that I needed to do everything myself for things to be done right. In the early days, I wore all the hats—managing sales, creating content, handling operations, and everything in between. Delegating felt uncomfortable because I was so accustomed to being in control, and trusting others to handle key responsibilities was a challenge.
The turning point came when I realized that trying to do everything alone was unsustainable and limiting for the business. Once I started delegating and trusting my team, I saw a significant shift. Not only did the work get done, but it was often done better than I could have imagined. It became clear that leaning on others and allowing them to bring their expertise to the table was essential for growth.
This shift wasn’t just about lightening my load; it also strengthened the connection I had with my team. By trusting them, I gave them the opportunity to excel, and together we achieved far more than I could have on my own. In hindsight, I wish I had embraced delegation and hired sooner—it’s one of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned as a business owner. Letting go is tough, but it’s necessary to scale and succeed.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?
When it comes to managing a team and maintaining high morale, the key is ensuring that everyone understands the bigger picture—what they’re working for, who they’re doing it for, and the mission that drives the team forward. Clarity of purpose fuels motivation and creates a sense of shared ownership.
For us, the mission is simple: to help communities thrive by making the neighborhood look good. We firmly believe that when businesses succeed, the communities around them flourish as well. This mission serves as our north star, much like SpaceX’s mission to occupy Mars or The Ocean Cleanup’s goal to remove 90% of floating ocean plastic. When your team knows the purpose behind their work and the problem they’re helping to solve, they’re more engaged and inspired.
Equally important is fostering an environment of enthusiasm and alignment. You need to be genuinely excited about the work you do and surround yourself with like-minded individuals who share that passion. When your team sees your energy and commitment, it becomes contagious, creating a positive culture that drives results.
