Hi Jeff, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?

I got started in the cannabis industry in 2016 when a client introduced me to a cannabis attorney who was assisting others in entering the field. Intrigued by the potential, I decided to take the meeting. She guided me through the application process, and from that moment, I was committed to opening a retail shop in my community at Codman Square. With dedication and hard work, I successfully navigated the challenges and established a presence in the industry, contributing to the growth and acceptance of cannabis in my area.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

No, it has not been a smooth road at all. In fact, it’s been the hardest and longest journey of my life. From 2016 to 2023, I constantly questioned whether this was going to happen for me. I faced numerous personal and professional challenges, including shoulder surgery, both my parents battling cancer, and rupturing my Achilles in 2022. During this time, my girlfriend became my fiancée in 2018, then my wife 2019, and we welcomed two children 2021 & 2023. We also faced financial setbacks, the impact of COVID-19, and a former business partner embezzling from the company. Despite these struggles, I remained resilient and consistent. Through sheer determination and faith, I managed to overcome these obstacles and achieve my goals.

What was your favorite childhood memory?

My favorite childhood memory is simply being young and carefree, without any responsibilities. I fondly remember asking my mom and dad endless questions and enjoying the freedom of living young, wild, and free. Those days were filled with curiosity, playfulness, and a sense of boundless possibility.
