Given the magical potential of legacies, we wanted to support and foster conversations around legacy building and below you’ll find some of those conversations.

I hope the legacy I leave behind is someone who was there to capture and create moments with people from around the world. Someone who appreciated little the things in life and was kind to others. Read more>>

The answer to this is 2-fold. First, I want to be the kind of business owner where my kids always understand that THEY are my priority and not my business. If you ask any of my full-time staff, they will tell you that I will drop just about anything when it comes to my children. I work as hard as I do so for THEM, but never want them to feel they get the scraps of my attention. When I am gone someday, I hope they will be able to tell their kids how hard I worked, but also that I was present and active mama in their lives. Secondly, I want to be known as a KIND, fun, and authentic business owner. I want people to remember me as someone that genuinely cared about my staff, my vendors, and my clients. Read more>>

I think about my legacy all the time, as a mom and as a business person and I hope it’s one in the same. If I could have a legacy of helping people, I would be extremely proud of that. A dear friend of mine named Laurie D’Angelo, had a profound affect on me. Her funeral was standing room only and the most beautiful thing I’ve ever been to. Hundreds of people told story after story of how she helped them in some way. I remember thinking how this small woman changed all of these peoples lives for the better just by offering them help. We were all grieving at what we had lost, this safe person, a person you could always turn to in times of trouble, someone that was always there for you no matter what with her wisdom and guidance. It was a huge loss! It reminds me of something Mr. Roger’s used to say, “look for the helpers, you will always find people who are helping”. Laurie was that person and she still inspires me all these years later! Read more>>

I am hoping to be remembered as a person who helped the Independent Artists [Actress, Singer / Songwriter] achieve the publicity they deserved. I want to be remembered for the work that I do and the people I’ve helped along the way. I am not about Titles, but of what I do with those titles. I have published my book, “Secrets of Self-Motivational Success” which inspired individuals to jump from point A to point B. I have been in the Political, Educational, Public Safety, Public Relations, Fitness, Hospitality, and many other industries. All of those have one thing in common, and that’s to help inspire others. “Legacy” seems like such a big word and, if I’m honest, it’s an idea I could consider a bit more. I hope people will remember me with generosity and warmth. There are so many chapters in our lives and I would imagine that there might be someone out there who only knew a younger version of me. To those people, I ask for generosity b/c my awareness of the layers and complications of humans & experiences expands daily. Read more>>

I’m hoping to build a legacy for my family. I want to be able to leave something behind for the generations to come within my family. Every family has the opportunity to set the next generation up for positive before they leave this earth. I want to be a big part in that with starting this business. I’m hoping people remember me for my hustle and grind. Also, appreciate the motivation of why I created this business. Read more>>

I hope people will be touched and question their level of empathy after experiencing any of my collaborations as a writer. I’m hoping that some folks will consider leaning into curiosity even if it is a little different than what you thought would happen. I started as an opera singer, and presently I’m writing stories that are turned into operas while singing opera. I never considered this, but I’m learning to lean more into the passion. Read more>>

I started Ethan Thomas in 2020. (Crazy right?) I wanted to take a chance, and showcase my creativity, but by bringing others visions to life. If I could be remembered for anything? I hope it is that during the most stressful season of wedding or event planning, We made the process easy, calm, and fun, and you became like family to us. And that we brought every vision and dream to life, so that in 20 years you can look back on photos and videos, and get just as excited as you were the day of. Read more>>
