When the world shut down due to COVID-19, I found myself facing a unique set of challenges. As a new mother to my son, Rowan, I had been a teacher for over 12 years and held a Masters in Education. Teaching is an incredible profession but with all of the virtual changes and difficulties finding childcare, I decided I wanted to stay home with my son. I was determined to not only provide for my family but also contribute to the growing virtual landscape. Read more>>

As a native New Yorker I began my career as an image consultant for female executives and entrepreneurs. Relocating to LA in the late 90’s I became a celebrity stylist, dressing the most powerful women in Hollywood. Wardrobe styling is both an honor and privilege, an intimate exchange where deep trust is vital towards ensuring my work instills confidence in the clients I dress. Over the past 30 + years women have invited me into their closets and I’ve noticed universal truths that we collectively experience. Whether I am adding finishing touches to a celebrity gown fitting, helping a postpartum Mom reinvent her style or outfitting a CEO for her next Pitch Deck presentation, the underpinnings and inner dialogues of female hearts and minds are pretty much all the same. I created an app called Affirmation Genie. It uses AI to generate custom affirmations based on user input. I have to admit that I am conflicted now on the affects of AI on the environment but initially when I learned about ChatGPT I wanted to know how I could use it to my benefit. I decided to use it to learn Python as quickly as possible and in that process I ended up creating an entire mobile app from scratch and launching it. The entire project was non stop innovation :) Read more>>

Innovation is at the forefront of what we do at Queer Quest. Being a coach helping people in the queer community to transform their lives can be a tough road when focused solely on your own growth and supporting others through theirs. There is no path forward outside of the traditional social media marketing for queer entrepreneurs. This was a struggle for me and a major struggle I saw many other coaches who help LGBTQIA+ clients. This is why we created Queer Quest so there is a place that we can work together to help more people. Queer Quest is the world’s first online personal development platform where expert coaches, healers, teachers, and gurus from around the world can host their expert niche programs so that clients can come and learn from many different voices instead of the traditional one voice. You can learn and grow in all 12 areas of the queer wellness wheel of life so you can go on a deep journey that can be as curated or customised as you need it to be. This level of innovation has helped us try to not only solve the problems for our own clients but one for the entire industry to be a part of. We are much better together as a community so why not leverage that. Read more>>

The most innovative thing I’ve done as a creative is a fundraiser I started with my husband. Lifelong Star Wars fans, we were devastated at the loss of the Galactic Starcruiser immersive theater experience at Walt Disney World. We wanted to bring a bit of that magic home and to raise money for charity, so we created A Galactic Dinner, an fundraiser for Make-a-Wish set in the Star Wars universe. My husband, a professional chef, conceived a five-course menu of space-inspired dishes, and I wrote an original theatrical event that took place during the dinner. We raised over $20,000 for Make-a-Wish in a two-night event. Read more>>
