One day I hope my legacy will be that I open multiple shops in different locations. The first being my hometown in Orlando, Florida and then branching out and reaching nearby cities like Miami, and even expanding out the state to Atlanta. My ultimate goal, is to teach the next set of entrepreneurs that nails is more than meets the eye. There is longevity and a career in being a nail tech if one decides that path for themselves. I want people to see me and be re-directed to themselves. The greatest gift I can give someone is their own reflection – the ability to see their own power. The bravery to operate from their inner voice versus the many external voices that emanate from our current social paradigm. So many of us are stunted by arbitrary social expectations. The demands and voices of social norms can be so loud and so persistent that they become indistinguishable from our own. It’s no wonder that so many people find themselves in a rat race toward objectives that typically don’t align with their true values or nature – ultimately leading to a life of dissatisfaction and emptiness. It would be my greatest honor to serve as a catalyst to living life in a way that is authentic to the purest self – unmarred by external expectation or social validation, and fueled by inherent purpose. I put business owner as my main descriptor because I own two businesses. One is NeuroPolitan and the other is Megankaymotivate LLC, a lifestyle and fitness focused business. Truthfully, though, I do more than this. I am also a musician, a model, and a psychic medium. Some of this is for my own joy and growth like modeling for example, but the other things all revolve around pushing compassion and care for others into the world. Every business I have or will start is revolved around making other people’s lives better and caring. Read more>>

I hope that my legacy inspires the undervalued and underrepresented to dream their biggest dreams, then double them. I want them to know that there isn’t a limit to what they can achieve. I hope I inspire others to keep learning, reinvent themselves, and do things that they truly find pleasure in. I want to leave my mark in tech in whatever capacity that may be. I hope I’m remembered as a true innovator and someone who motivated others and helped them begin the life of their dreams. Read more>>

Ideally Old Harbor Distilling will be remembered as one of California’s best craft distilleries. We launched back in 2013 when there were only a handful of craft distilleries in San Diego. Today there are over 25! I remember when I started Mike Hess Brewing there were 28 breweries in San Diego. Now it is closer to 200. I imagine the same thing will be happening in the spirit industry as more and more consumers become aware of the quality of products we are putting out. If we come to be seen as a Stone, Ballast Point, Karl Strauss, Pizza Port, etc… in the craft spirit scene I will be happy. Read more>>

Legacy: what do I think my legacy will be? This is a question that is close to my heart since I have always talked about creating a legacy to leave behind. I believe that everyone has a gift… and I also believe that we all should find something that we are passionate about and give back to that demographics. The challenge is, to find out what your gift is and then follow through with it. I’d like to think of myself as being a very good mother, and my first legacy has been to raise my children the best way possible so they could always be honest, compassionate, trustworthy humans who’s virtues are of great integrity! That itself is a legacy because I know they will do the same for their own children and so on. Building up a family legacy that keeps giving back for generations to come. Read more>>

That my journey is an example and a testimony of the abundant life that we are promised walking with God , and with him nothing is impossible. That if I can, you too can receive his promises. “Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her” As I remain faithful and transparent through my journey, use my blessings to bless others, operate out of love, be generous and authentic while serving others, that it leads others towards experiencing God personally. That my customers always receive a full experience for not only the body with great food, but also feeds their mind and spirit as a fulfilling memory of a lifetime. That my life is a light to others. Truthfully I never really had thought about legacy until this past year – I had thought about being famous and getting recognized for my work, but never what I would leave behind until I met the love of my life last year. When I looked into her eyes as I proposed earlier this year it dawned on me that this is my new family and the kids I might have with this woman would be the ones that carry on my legacy. Documentary style of photographer has alway been my favorite because you are getting the true to life human experience of what happened in that moment and what really went on that day. Even when working with couples and models I hardly ever pose or give direction (I know I know is very taboo), but I never want the couple or model to act in a way that isn’t themselves – I simply say “Go on a date like you normally would and the camera and I are just bystanders. The definition of “Legacy” is something that is passed on. But Legacy can take many forms. A Legacy may be of one’s faith, ethics and core values. A Legacy may be monetary or your assets. A Legacy may come from one’s character, reputation and the life you lead – setting an example for others and guiding their futures. In this life, I have been blessed to touch the lives of thousands of people and I’ve been impacted as well. The older that I get, I realize it’s not the work that I’ve done while I’m alive but the legacy that I leave behind that makes a difference. It’s not that I’m so perfect or so wonderful, I just know that I was created for a purpose. I am here to help people walk in wealth by walking in their purpose. Read more>>

When people remember me, I want them to always note that I kept God first and always figured out a way to keep going. Giving up is never an option for me. I hope that in the end, I’ve done enough to make sure my child (or children) don’t have to do as much. I’d love to have a daughter one day, and pass down everything to her. As time continues, I pray that KAECHE grows into a household name, and that she gets to reap the benefits of that. Read more>>
