Legacies help us with our goals after we’ve passed because they have the power to inspire action and the give our ideals an chance to live on through others. Given the magical potential of legacies, we wanted to support and foster conversations around legacy building and below you’ll find some of those conversations.

I believe that feeling a sense of home is one of the most important things in life. I hope my legacy will be the gift of giving others peace of mind, solace and serenity and a sense of pride inside their homes. Whenever I leave a space, I hope to leave them their own sanctuary. Read more>>

As a father I think about this quite often. To leave a mark, to leave a legacy for those who come at me regardless if there related or not, Is the one thing that I really do strive for. As of right now I want my legacy to be a guide for those who strive to create. And by creating I mean whatever thoughts or ideas do you have in your mind I wish for you to bring them out. I don’t believe in limitations. I don’t believe people should be limited. If you have more than one skill, I believe you should hone it, sharpen it, and provide it to the world by giving value. I have had a plan of creating a family business that not only my children but my nieces and nephews can benefit from for years. I believe in generational wealth so that all the hard times we may face now is to make this business grow and flourish for them. I’m going to answer this question in two parts. As a Producer/Director I want my work to tell amazing stories, to influence others in positive ways, to shed light on important topics, and to create discussions and opportunities for others that will continue for generations. As a Man I want to be remembered as someone who always led with love. A man who protected, provided for, and loved his family and friends unconditionally till the very end. Read more>>

I’m hoping my legacy will be something bigger than this company. We are creating a fun place to work with many opportunities for our employees, we are changing the stigma of cannabis and we are doing it as a women-owned-business in a male-dominated industry. I often speak about the challenges we are facing as a self-funded, small business and as a momtrepreneur. I do it because I want people to know that while it might not be easy, it is possible! Chase your dreams, work hard and surround yourself with the right people and you can do it, too. Read more>>

This is such a great question. I am the youngest of 5 kids. I come from a family that I love and respect more than I could ever say. I feel like the people in my family are powerful, talented and intelligent. There is not one of them, from parents to siblings who has not been impactful and influential in this world. I have a strong desire and a strong pull to be the same. To live up to the family name. My everyday is spent trying to catch up to them. I hope that one day, I am also viewed the same way I see them and they are as proud of me as I am of them. Read more>>

I think about this question quite a bit as I’m always trying to be self-aware. Since adolescence, I’ve always had the deepest desire to help and give. I remember being about 8 years old and my mom getting upset at me because I gave away her $50 to the person who bagged our groceries and brought it to our car. Understandably, that’s a lot of money and she needed it. Eventually, she laughed it off and said even though I should’ve asked first, she was still proud of me for being willing to give what “I” had. As with most ambitious business owners, I’m inspired to leave a multifaceted legacy — one that resonates with a wide variety of people and demographics. I have always viewed basketball as a truly special vehicle to connect people. As something that goes way beyond a game or a sport. Whether it’s two young players building an interpersonal connection for life in their local area, or now through social media, connecting with people thousands of miles away strictly through hoops, it is the medium through which millions of people meet. Not only that, but it can provide opportunities to change lives. Read more>>

I have every intention to leave a legacy in these ways: 1. Be an inspiration to others by helping them grow and be the best version of themselves 2. Act and behave with authenticity, integrity and character 3. Be an example of growth and learning, regardless of age or any other limiting belief 4. Utilizing and sharing the God given resources/gifts we have to the benefit of others 5. Be a light of goodness and honor to and for others. Read more>>

We aim to create drool-worthy content but more importantly, to help the South Florida food scene’s knowledge on dietary restrictions continue to grow via our social media pages. The amount of people that reach out to thank us for bringing gluten-free options to their attention is enough to make this worthwhile. This is the legacy we want to leave behind. Read more>>
