When we go on short trips we often know exactly what we expect at the end, but when it comes to our lives and careers we’ve seen far too often we shy away from really thinking through where we expect to be at the end and what we hope our legacy will be. So, we wanted to encourage conversations on the topic of legacy and you’ll find highlights from our conversation from some wonderful members of the business and creative community below.

The legacy that I hope to leave behind would simply be to align with the agency mission statement which is “Encouraging individual improvement for community empowerment and healing”. As I have grown into my responsibilities, I recognize that I am setting a standard of living that embraces treating others in a respectful way that promotes healing. I would like for the norm when interacting with others to be through a trauma informed approach where everyone is kinder than necessary as you never know what the next person is going through. There are soo many individuals who go through life holding on to what hurts them the most and I hope people learn how to release and heal to actually live and not jut exisit. Read more>>

I pray to build a legacy of love, laughter and leadership! I believe that everything in life is grounded in those three concepts. It’s my motto and core values that I strive to embody in my personal life, work and relationships. LOVE – Love is the anchor of our lives. Understanding what love truly means helps us act intentionally towards ourselves and others, allowing us to recognize the love communicated to us by others. It shapes our behavior. I believe the core of love lies in how we express it through patience, kindness, forgiveness, honesty, and accountability. Love is a verb—it’s all about what we do! It’s essential for growth because it lays the groundwork for the life we desire. Love fuels everything we undertake. Love never fails. As it says in 1 Corinthians, “In all you do, do it in love.” God is LOVE! Love is our natural birthright. It drives out fear! All we need is love (Beatles, 1969)! Read more>>

I hope the experience my works bring to people will be remembered as a journey of self-discovery and healing. The artistic themes of my creations—whether games, films , interactive sculptures, or any other medium, always revolve around physical touch, love, and vulnerability. and I strive to explore these concepts through playful yet immersive interaction, providing players/audience with an experience that helps them recognize their own softness and develop a deeper self-understanding. By continuously creating such works, I hope to encourage more people to rethink these themes through a serious yet playful lens. Read more>>

I hope that Coffee with McKenna is able to influence people’s lives in a few “small” ways: Encourage support of local business – shop small, local businesses that support real people in the community. Take steps towards sustainable living – small, incremental changes in your lifestyle to live more sustainably. Form connections – even a small act of kindness can impact someone in a huge way on and offline; make sure to leave people better than how you found them. Read more>>

“Legacy. What is a legacy? It’s planting seeds in a garden you never get to see” is a quote from Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton. This quote is a bittersweet epiphany: “What am I currently doing that will leave a mark on the world no matter how big or small?” For me, it is important to be a creative vessel for visionaries and be a part of the process of bringing a vision to life. Whether it is my vision or someone else’s, stories or ideas deserve to be seen in any artistic form. My favorite form to tell a story is through films or photos. Read more>>

My intention is to build a legacy of readers, both near and far, the young and the old, the great and the small. As a person, I hope people will remember me as a kind-hearted soul whose writing offered deep, thought-provoking insights. For my works of fiction, they will say her books were page-turners and hard to put down. I aim to be celebrated as an author whose fiction ignites profound views, educating, inspiring, and entertaining readers along the way. Read more>>

When I think of legacy, I think that the impact on people lives and memories are truly important. I believe that success is measured by how many people you help with what you have accomplished. I honestly don’t have an answer for what I believe people will say, but I do know that I treat everybody with respect and don’t show no ill will towards no one. I hate to sound cliché, but I really want my people to win all my people. I want to be remembered for putting together good times while motivating and empowering to do and live that successful life in their own way. Fo20tv Read more>>

As a creative individual, my goal is to leave some kind of imprint on as many people as possible. I’ve always wanted to create something that is entirely made from me. To be a bit more specific; I want to create a film or series or; something that ultimately brings people together in a positive way. I’ve always been amazed at how storytelling can sort of create this bridge of understanding between people. I want to tell stories or help share other people’s stories to help build a connection. I want to make people laugh or cry (good tears), and just be someone who, after I’m gone, people will look back and say “Oh, that guy! I loved his work in this thing or the way he made that thing. He really made me feel good and inspired me”. I hope my legacy is just that I made a difference for someone through my creative work. Read more>>

As an author, speaker, and coach, I plan to build a legacy of inspiration and empowerment. I want to be remembered as someone who made a meaningful impact on the lives of others, helping them to realize their potential and overcome challenges. I want to be known as a catalyst for change, and someone who encouraged self-discovery and growth. Additionally, I hope to be remembered for my ability to communicate powerful ideas, my empathy in coaching, and the transformative stories I have shared through my writing. Ultimately, my legacy will be one of resilience, compassion, and the belief that everyone has the power to create their own path. Read more>>

I helped create Thaliondor at its inception, and I have run it for the last ten years. Over those ten years, I have molded, shifted, and shaped Thaliondor into what it is today. And what I think it is today is the best blend of all sorts of foam fighting games that are played currently. I think that Thaliondor has the best chance to gather the most amount of players with its diverse methods of play, while also being simple enough to pull new players off the street. Which I think will cause the game to grow, and I hope it does. Read more>>

I would hope to have left a positive impact on people. I want my legacy to be upholding truth as well as true artisty and songwriting. I mostly want to be remembered for the way that I treated people and that the tumultuous times that I had to experience were worth it because it then led to me writing a song to heal myself that hopefully heals someone else.
