When we go on short trips we often know exactly what we expect at the end, but when it comes to our lives and careers we’ve seen far too often we shy away from really thinking through where we expect to be at the end and what we hope our legacy will be. For Heritage Coffee Cart, we are always looking at how the here and now will impact the later. Part of naming our business was uncovering what we want to be known for – beyond the coffee, beyond the transaction, beyond the money. We want to love our community by serving coffee to them. Honestly, when I take pictures, I think about the legacy those images will leave behind. As for the legacy I want to build, I hope that people remember me as someone who captured their most precious memories with heart and soul. That I made them feel comfortable, loved, and celebrated. I want to be remembered for showing people how beautiful and valuable their lives are—through my lens and in the moments that matter most. Read more>>

I aspire to build a legacy that embodies what it means to fully embrace and utilize the gifts God has given me in a way that touches others and fulfills His purpose for my life. I hope people will remember me as someone who is multi-talented, creative, and brilliant, but above all, I want to be remembered for my heart and how I treated others. While I cherish the idea of being recognized for my body of work, it is the impact I have on people’s lives that truly matters to me. Read more>>
