Well, the big trend right now is the emergence of AI. There is a division in the content writing industry. Understandably, when AI is used to replace the human authentication, then you are left with a piece that can be soulless and stale. Lacking in character or personality. While at the same time, more and more software and online programs are going to some form of AI to increase not only the efficiency of media, but to decrease the time it takes to produce it. Biggest trends I am seeing is the use of AI. I am not in favor of this trend as a Photographer. I do feel that as AI slowly takes over Photographers might become reliant on automated process and decline in using their traditional editing skills; thus, loss of their skills and craftmanship. I also feel that reliance on AI for editing and composition could hinder a let’s say a beginner Photographer’s ability to develop their own style. The overconsumption of trends and needing to follow them consistently. Trends only last for so long, especially in the fashion industry. However, as we’ve seen before there are always revivals of trends. I think it’s important to not feel like you always need to follow trends and what’s popular. Some of the newest trends that are lash clusters ! There has always been some type of “ fake “ lash around , like falsies but now there’s clusters and they come in many different styles . I think this trend is cool and convenient for the clients who don’t have the time to lay on a bed for 2-3 hours or on a tighter budget as lash extensions aren’t the cheapest thing on the market . I personally don’t think clusters will make lash extensions disappear! There’s people like me who take those appointments as personal time or cannot apply a falsie to save my life . I know a lot of lash artist were starting to get intimidated with this trend but the truth is there has always been the DIY clients and clients who would rather pay someone else to perform the service and that’s not changing .
