The best thing you can give to your customers is the effort. People like to feel like they’re getting value when spending money with you, they like to get value out of the deal. I always try my best to keep in touch with my supporters and keep them updated on new projects and events. This lets them know that you’re still connected with them and still active in business. I highly suggest when you’re making content, keep your base involved and every once in a while give something back to the community to expand your trust with them and this will ensure that they will keep coming back cause they know you’re legit. In true Auntie fashion, I gave the customer a full refund and still shipped the item out. A small gesture can make someones day. Hopefully her nephew didn’t get in too much trouble for thinking about getting Auntie a special gift. Read more>>

Gifting is my love language. When it’s someones birthday, I send flowers. When someone’s family member passes, I send flowers or (recently donuts). This year for the first time, I sent customized holiday gifts to clients. I’ve always loved making friends and family feel special with a gift and keep my own personal gifting log in excel, with photos, of everything I have gifted people in my life over the years. Etsy is my best friend for this kind of stuff, and an amazing resource to get inspiration for original gifts. I like to think outside of the box. A lot of my friends come to me for gifting help, and fellow assistants. To curate an amazing, personal gift for someone that they will hold onto forever, is one of the best things you can do.
