I have always managed all of Cobra Promotions’ social media accounts: I absolutely love planning and designing content, tracking engagement, growing a following and building my brand. Cobra Promotions is a one-woman show, so in a way, I have no choice but to run my own socials, so I’m lucky that I love it! I have always been interested in writing and digital media, and I find running the socials to be as exciting as the content itself. There are so many free resources to take advantage of – it’s all about doing some research and finding what’s best for you. When I started out my blog, it was solely Instagram based, and it was nice to design all of my content with only the one social media in mind, and not get overwhelmed with the thought of running other accounts. Since we started with “Guía de Compras Orlando” we have always managed our website, social networks, YouTube Channel, etc. We have never hired anyone to do it, although at times it takes a lot of work and dedication. It was not a conscious decision, but we have preferred to have direct contact with our followers, because that’s what our project is all about, sharing our experiences with the people who are part of the “Guia de Compras Orando” community. I manage my own social media (mostly Instagram, and some TikTok and Pinterest). At first, it was because being a small business I just didn’t have the financials to constitute hiring a team or company, but it quickly evolved into me loving it AND my brand becoming a personal brand so it just made sense for me to run my own social media. People see my face, they hear my voice, they connect with ME, not just the service I provide. I feel like it’s easier for bigger companies or companies who sell products to have a team/company manage them, but when it comes to hiring a PERSON to do a job, it’s so important that it’s a personal brand and that person shows up on their social media consistently. We do manage our own social media for both businesses. When we first started Dusty Dude Woodworks as a side hustle in 2017 we made everything from scrap wood and relied heavily on social media to share our story and products because we were really building our business from the ground up. It was very important that our branding be accurate and honest for our followers. We didn’t have the money to invest in another team to do that for us and we hadn’t really considered it for the woodshop becuse we loved doing it ourselves. We could have fun and be creative while still sharing organic content. Read more>>

I manage my own social media platforms because I feel that I can connect with my supporters more and be more of myself. I made this choice so I could have my own say in what I want to post or discuss on my platforms. Some things I’ve learned from managing my own social media is be yourself always and never try to change who you are for anyone who does not support you. I’ve also learned that even if you are not seeing much of a growth or difference in your page/following don’t let that discourage from doing what you love. Read more>>

So right now Im managing my Instagram and Tiktok accounts. I wouldn’t want someone else managing my account because I have a clear vision set in my head for the types of content I want my followers to see from me. It would be nice to have some help once in a while but I’ve learned a lot just on my own trying to manage my accounts and my art friends give me tips and tricks all the time so it’s really just a learning process every day with social media. The biggest lesson I’ve learned from curating my content on social media is to always try and connect with my audience by sharing something personal about myself. Read more>>

Social media is a full-time job if you want to grow your client base and keep your followers interested. I manage 90% of my social marketing. In high workflow weeks I have my assistants do weekly posts and stories to help. I have never looked into hiring a team to manage my social media. For interior designers your posts and stories are a mix of personal and professional. I fear that hiring an agency to handle it will make my work feel less personal and it’s hard to convey the whys and stories behind our design decision making. Having your internal team help you with your social isa great idea. They are attached to all of these projects just as much as I am and our passion for what we do really shines through our posts. I manage my own social media for my cross stitch shop, KC Stitchery. I maintain an instagram and Facebook page as well as Etsy sales shop. I am a one woman shop so I am my only employee qualified to manage social media! I don’t think I would want someone else to do it regardless. I as the creator of my products know how I want to present them. What features I want to highlight. What behind the scenes looks like. Read more>>

I manage my own social media! I actually really enjoy posting to Instagram and using it. I have taught classes to other artists who are beginner users and don’t know how to get started on their social media. A lot of artists don’t realize you can get legitimate sales and commission projects based on what you post on instagram! I have sold quite a few piece to both friends and to complete strangers via posts they saw on Instagram of my pieces! Read more>>

I manage our Facebook and Instagram accounts, but have someone else who runs our website. Most often I’m the one who is there for everything happening at the rescue. This means that I am able to capture photos, videos, and I know exactly what’s happening and what help we need. Because of this, I am able to post our needs immediately. Since I work a full time job on top of running the rescue, I just don’t have the time to also be maintaining our website and decided to delegate that task to someone else. Read more>>

I manage my own social media. I am on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok and You Tube. After I closed my restaurant in 2014, I started writing down a lot of my family recipes that I had been cataloging in my mind since childhood and working to perfect over my lifetime. And in 2020, right after the lockdown got going, I began sharing them on Instagram when a group of my girlfriends and I started our profile page, Miciamammas. Read more>>
