Hi Nsw The , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?

I began modeling as a child , picked it back up around my early to mid 20’s. I modeled for a company, Kidding Around doing commercials, print-work and auditioning for movies. When I returned to modeling as an adult , I hit the runway and resumed print work and commercials.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

Smooth? No the best things never are. Just being a plus sized model has its own struggles . “You’re beautiful but we’re looking for size small …” However in the same breath, I’ve created my own lane and a lane where they want the curves!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?

Aside from modeling I also work a 9-5 , write and perform Spoken Word , as well as writing and publishing books. It’s important to be transparent in my creative works so that the hustle in this kind of life is understood for anyone on the outside looking in. I would love to do these things only full time but I have a son to provide for and lifestyle I like us to live. I am proud that my ambition pushed me back into school with time to still do all of this and more .

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?

Being able to travel and experience different things and places my mom exposed me to as a child.
