Today we’d like to introduce you to Ebonie Thornton

Ebonie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?

I am a military spouse, being a military family it’s not as easy as people may think to get a job. Moving from place to place and not being able to find work can take a toll on your family. I am also a licensed esthetician and I have a love for home fragrance and home decor. I could never find aesthetic candles at the time so I decided to do some research on the candle business market and Luxurious Ambience was created, I also thought this would be great for myself and my family because I could just bring my business where ever the military sends us.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

Smooth road I would have to say no, It can be hard to run a business, it’s so many resources out but it can be hard to find the best one for small businesses.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?

I focus on clean products, not only are they clean and sustainable but they are aesthetically pleasing and they go with any home aesthetic. My candles are designed to go with your unique style without compromising or sacrificing your health!

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?

My favorite childhood memories are in the country with my grandma! She would always teach me how to care for the garden and all her plants, looking back I’m so glad she did because when the forever home gets purchased someday I’ll be planting my own garden, I’ll always be forever grateful to my grandma for the memories and knowledge she shared.
