We’ve always tried to ask the questions that matter but that are too awkward for people to ask their friends, family and coworkers without seeming dramatic. One of those questions is about mission and purpose – when’s the last time you asked a friend what their mission was? Too often we don’t talk about our own missions and don’t ask those close to us about theirs with the result being that our missions remain secret. Are you just a doctor or are you a doctor who wants to be there for patients in the way you wished your father’s doctor had been? People have incredible and meaningful missions, and we hope our conversations asking folks about their mission can inspire more such conversations in your life.

I always say that I’m more than a photographer. Because I’m giving more than just a photoshoot with beautiful pictures. It’s a container, and I’m only the space holder. It’s an invitation to be your most authentic self, in a society that doesn’t really gives you space to be. That does not adapt the environment to the individual but ask the individual to fit in. To experience yourself in new ways & to connect or reconnect to your own essence. Read more>>

I was in the shower one day talking to, well shouting my ideas, to my husband in 2019. I ran the idea of my company name one night. That name popped up and I just couldn’t shake it. My business name is my mission. “Dimensional Hues Korey, that’s the name!” I remember telling to my husband. We are all connected together in this world. We all have aspirations. We all are the same in some way regardless of what we go by racially & ethnically. Together we are one. Read more>>

We are two guys who are from the Midwest that are out to show the world how many rums are out there that can compete with any other liquor in the world. Yeah we said it… You put the finest Whiskeys, Tequila, Vodka, gin or anything else you think can compare and we will show you a rum that can go toe to toe with it on any scale. When we started this channel we called it “Just Drinking” because we thought we would move on after we completed all the rums, because at that time we thought rum was the 4 or 5 large brands and just a handful of small brands. There I sat in the doctor’s office listening to him explain to me that the pain I’d been experiencing was due to having shingles. I remember feeling so confused because at that time I was only 37. As he explained more about what shingles is and why people get shingles, he asked me to tell him a bit about what I had going on in my life. I rattled everything off like a daily to-do list: teacher, mom, farm wife, living in our house as we remodel it ourselves, in the middle of a master’s program, active PEO board member, a member of a local women’s group, a tutor for a local woman learning to speak English as a second language, and the list when on. Sharing these things didn’t phase me. Read more>>

When my family began our own homeschooling journey, I can remember it often being overshadowed by overwhelming feelings of inadequacy. I lost count of the blogs, articles and websites that gave a picture perfect facade of what it meant to “homeschool well”. I then started getting commissions from friends and family. I love the creative aspect of painting and when I paint I don’t think about anything else, just being in that moment. Read more>>

Where do I begin? The catalyst for me going hard and deciding to empower women is when I saw something on television, I don’t remember what show it was – some makeover show, and the young lady said that when she brushed her teeth she do not look in the mirror. She stated that she didn’t like herself so much that she couldn’t even look at herself in the mirror while brushing her teeth. And I thought…. my God, how awful that we don’t love ourselves enough to even LOOK at the reflection in the mirror staring back at us. I thought of all the times I was bullied, teased, overlooked and put down. Read more>>
