Zavawn, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. The first dollar your business earns is always special and we’d love to hear how your brand made its first dollar of revenue.
I did a show back in October 2022 in LA called preview models during LA fashion week where I was connected with ANTM cycle 12 sharaun B & international basketball player , game changers , shameless and season 2 of “peacock ” belair actor Sheldon bailey. Sharaun became my celebrity model mentor a few months before the show hosted by Nick Cannon. Sheldon loved what my parents and I had going on with sophisticated Ladies and gentlemen boutique. We were able to book them both for mentorship with our models and “Fire & Ice season 2 vol.2 fashion show became a success and an annual project with sponsorships from various companies

I started with taking pictures on Instagram and heard how I would become a great model. I worked studied and became more polished with my craft. Our company sophisticated ladies and gentlemen boutique as well as sister business Kyra’s dollhouse provide a personal yet professional environment. From services like hair styles , high fashion designer clothes great social media marketing as well as our annual show we do every year we provide an all around family oriented experience. Many people who value upstanding values would definitely appreciate our company
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Before being signed to 2 different agencies 1 in Minneapolis as well as new Orleans. I went through a phase where I felt I just wouldn’t get a break even a thought that said I should possibly focus on something different. When my older sibling Tierra Mathews passed August of 2021 I was ready to hang it up. It was her voice that told me to keep going and now I’m here. I have much work to do which includes finishing my business degree and continuing to polish my family business taking it to the next level
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to learn that it’s ok if I don’t know everything as well as it’s ok to unlearn things I think I may know. Being yourself is key being in an industry where you are in the spot light social media sometimes make you question how you should conduct your business. I believe it’s all about balance
