We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Yung Beria . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Yung below.
Hi Yung , thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
Like 7 years ago that’s when my passion as a creative artist starts getting really serious but I actually kinda noticed that when I was a kid Back then I use to do other hit artists music covers but when my craft starts getting serious I started writing and recording my own songs
And also was creative about it I didn’t want to imitate or sound like other artists so I tried creating my own sounds into my music
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m a international hip hop artist with a different sound I created and like I earlier said I started like 7 years ago and since then i been working on my craft building my unique sound and now things are not the same because I can see my growth I had master my craft and it wasn’t easy over the years I had to stay strong and believing and also discipline because I encountered lot of challenges in situations where I had a lot of non believers, doubters and haters as well Yes people lot of the time don’t see when you building or putting in the work they only see when you are done building your craft so as a beginner back then it was very difficult because people only support success they don’t support the story that lead to the success with that being said I got no regrets because those tough times toke me to where I’m at today and I want my fans and supporters to keep holding down I got more coming
In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
I think society needs to see or look at artists from a bigger picture while they grinding and putting in the work what I mean to say society needs to support from the start not only when the artist made it because for a artist to get to success in they career they had to build from the start and while building to get to the top they go through hell and lot of sacrifices to get to where they at it don’t happen over night with that being said society needs to learn not to doubt nobody you feel me doubt no body a artist who’s at the bottom today can be the biggest tomorrow because they game is about prime every artists get they prime time so supporting a artist who y’all didn’t support from the start feel the love and support is fake because I feel you only supporting my success but not me if that success go away today your support will go too. So real smart artist pay attention to that how people react to their craft doing they grind time and how the same people react when they successfully you feel me so I want to let the society know the best way to be apart of a artist success is to believe in them from the start and not only when they made it then it might be too late because the artist is going to see your support but they going to doubt if the support is genuine or fake just how you doubted the artist from the start.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Being able to create a sound and write a song that hit people and move people to like it you know that’s beautiful to have people believe and like your creativity that’s why I don’t take my craft for granted or joke I’m always ready and prepared to create new sounds, new music and a new wave because I want the world or society to get the best of my creations
