We were lucky to catch up with Yesica Glikman recently and have shared our conversation below.
Yesica, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Have you ever had an amazing boss, mentor or leader leading you? Can you us a story or anecdote that helps illustrate why this person was such a great leader and the impact they had on you or their team?
When I moved to Buenos Aires, I had just finished my law studies at the University of Cordoba. I knew from the beginning that I would have to work as a lawyer or paralegal in the big city in order to survive as an actress ( that was kind of my plan-b) In short, after a few days of living officially and all alone in the city, I started walking around downtown and had the idea of knocking on the doors of some offices and law firms. I met Jorge Taiah, a well-known criminal defence attorney with many years of professional experience, and he told me to “come tomorrow” I would interview, and then see how things went. I got the job. I started working in one of the best studios in all of Buenos Aires. I learned so much from Jorge, from little things in life to specific legal things. He was a person with a lot of knowledge. He stood firm on his point of view and knew the best way to proceed, analysing all the information, he was very trustworthy and easy to approach. I grew under Jorge in many ways and really appreciated his way of dealing with directors. He definitely inspires his employees to do their best.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Art gives us the ability to express ourselves. Through that expression, we communicate by drawing on our own unique emotions, thoughts and experiences. When you see and study another’s art, you’re seeing the world through their eyes. When you create, you’re letting the world see through yours
